Hey everyone! I've seen lots of mentions of "soft openings" for things like F! and WOC, but can anyone tell me how exactly this works? Is this a "planned event", which shows up on the times guide, or is it passed along by word of mouth, or would there be a sign advertizing it, etc???
We will be in DL for the week before F! opens, and though I probably woulnd't plan an entire vacation around it, if we could happen to snag a sneak peek, we should probably try to do it. Would it be safe to assume they would only show it on a weekend, or should we keep our eyes peeled during weekdays too?
Thanks for any info!

Usually a soft opening is not on the schedule. It's just luck if you get there and it happens to be open. We've hit a couple of soft openings in years past. We got on Buzz Lightyear before it was officially opened. That was fun to walk by and see that they were allowing people on.

We were part of the Monsters Inc soft opening. We happened to be riding the monorail when it was announced. We never heard or saw signs anywhere else. I think it's all luck. Feels kind of special though:rotfl:
