Soft Opening

We are heading up to universal on the 16th of this month (YAY!!!).
Does any one know if they have had any "soft opening" times happening at WWOHP yet?

Are they at least letting people walk thru the area if not try-out the rides?

It is still closed off. Rumours are that soft openings may occur mid-April. However, soft openings are never announced so everything is just speculation. Good luck!!!

Soft openings aren't usually announced and can happen at any time so it's possible you could be there and get lucky. I wouldn't hold my breath though...but it's possible.

I thought the best part was meeting the stars of the movie and actually riding with them. I can't believe Uni kept it so quiet that they were there today, signing autographs and riding with guests.

Yes, she was a real sweetie. She told me Universal chose to do this on April 1so they wouldn't be overwhelmed with a rampaging crowd because people would just figure it was an April Fool's Day rumor. As I was leaving, I tried to tell people, "Go over to the Wizarding World! It's open!" and none would believe me.

It would be open every day unless they need to fix or tweak something, which is likely.

It's run however it's needed. It might be every day from 11a-park close, it might be open every other day, it might be open all day one day then not open until 2p the next, it can be open from 11a-3p, etc

It's all a matter of luck.
