DS did a wonderful job but didn't place. I was able to watch him from a distance and could see that he was very animated and referred to his display often but not too much. The judges were smiling and nodding and commenting on his display.

I guess one of the coolest things that came out of this project was having someone from Disney get involved in it. Steven from Disney, was just great. I'm not sure he would want me to identify him any more than that on an open forum. I will say that he shared some great information about how pins are made, some history, some future plans, etc. He also contributed some very important artifacts that really made my son into a Disney pin fanatic. I can tell we will be spending a lot of time and money on Disney pins! Having Steven involved these past couple of weeks has been like having Pixie Dust sprinkled on us from long distance!pixiedust:

Tell your son congratulations. That is so nice that someone from Disney helped him out. It is refreshing to hear "nice" stories. Tell him he "placed" on the DisBoards, and post some pictures of the display if you took any. Happy Trading. :goodvibesPenny:upsidedow
