I posted a question last week and wanted to let you all know the answer. In the past, Disney allowed anyone to purchase the Southern California Annual Pass. That is no longer the case. When I went to purchase the pass at the gate on Sunday, I was told I couldn't even though I had my So Cal pass from last year. The new signage also clearly shows the zip codes on it (can't remember if the old signage did).
Just wanted to let everyone know as I was hoping to spend $99 for a pass and ended up spending $179.
