Does anyone know if Soarin will be open for next summer ?
This would be nice to have 3 new attractions open for our next visit ( Stitch, Soarin, & the MGM car show )

:D

I'm not sure, but I believe I heard here that it would be open in the spring of next year, just in time for summer. It looks like it will be a pretty cool ride to go on. I'm sure more people will respond giving you a more definitive answer. I'd like to know, too.

We did this many times last summer at DL. It's great. But don't do it if you're afraid of heights or you will spend the ride with your eyes closed.

the mgm car show??

haven't heard anything about that???

explain please??

It's the same thing currently playing at the Paris Disney Park. It's a stunt show with cars, explosions and such. I've seen some video, and it looks pretty cool. The back lot, which they're currently renovating to make space for it, was sorely in need of an update.

I'm pretty sure that these attractions are suposed to be open in time for the celebration next year.

I myself am crossing my fingers that Soarin' will be open next June!

What celebration would that be! We will be going next summer and I would relly love to know about a celebration.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Soarin' open next May to tie-in with the Disneyland 50th celebration.

The Stunt Show, by all accounts, has always been targeted for later in the Fall of 2005.

Soarin' over California. It's the same ride in California Adventure. You sit in a hang glider and are lifted up and out. There is a surround screen and you dip in conjunction with the movie.

Soarin' is my all time favorite attraction of any theme park, anywhere. Yes, it is that good! I am so excited it is coming to FLorida!!!:D

The celebration is for the 50th anniversary of Disneyland! I was hoping for alot more to be happening at DLR, but apparently most of the celebrating will be done at WDW...they are getting new attractions and shows. Disneyland is getting a castle paint-over (wowee), and they are refurbing Space Mtn. I think that just about the whole park will be closed for refurb this fall/winter, so I guess the execs think that people will be so happy to get everything back up and running, thet it will not be noticed that they really aren't doing anything for the 50th! I have AP's to DLR, so I will go back for sure, but I was really hoping for a new e-ticket ride ( an original, not like TOT transplanted from WDW). Oh well, at least I can enjoy all my faves, like POTC, HM, Tiki birds...these are all FAR superior in DL, IMO!!!......Oh, if you get a chance, DO NOT MISS SOARIN!!!! I am afraid of heights, but it is one of my all time favorites, anywhere!!! Definitley worth a long wait!!! They even pipe in scents to really give the illusion of hangliding over California!!:hyper:
