Soarin' around the world - what should it include?

So i'm reading Soarin' will now be more global:

If you had your wish list, what would it include:

For me, it would feature the Eiffel Tower - all lit up at night.

Also, a pyramid at sunset.

What would you like to see with the new international Soarin?

I was trying to envision this, too. I am assuming they will still use the 4-D effects of smells, and spray, etc?

Hmmm.

I also assume they will try and incorporate a lot of the countries in the WS?

I am hoping for Germany, for sure...Oktoberfest?? Maybe something in Switzerland - skiing?

I am THRILLED they are updating it, though.

DH and I had written off WDW PARKS after our last trip. Now, the gears are in motion to visit them again in a few years. YAY!

First I have to say while I am in favor of a global Soarin, I wish they wouldn't obliterate one devoted to the US for it. It should be the old Soarin becoming over the US, featuring national parks, big cities, mountains and of course overhead shots of Disney parks with World Soarin a second ride place in WS (cough instead of out of place Frozen ride cough cough). Not like Epcot doesn't need more big ticket rides....

Anyway, for World Soarin I would like to see: Eiffel Tower, London Bridge, Great Pyramids, Dubai, Great wall of China, jungles of South America maybe with some Mayan temples, African savanna, Grand Canyon, Swiss Alps, Venice, Siberia, Mt. Rushmore. In short a great mix of big vacation sites with places that are above the average person's reach.

And if am allowed a wish, a pre park "tour" where you could view an extended hour long version for a world tour would be wonderful.

I would prefer to see natural themes instead of cultural themes, but either could turn out amazing.

They'll have to ship some polar bears down from the Arctic in order to get that shot.

(Though I did once read a "cool science facts for kids" page in Pakistan's Dawn newspaper that talked about how many penguins a polar bear can eat in a day. One wonders which Pakistani scientist was feeding penguins to polar bears in order to determine that number, and whether any zoo officials objected!)

Personally, I'd like to soar through the fjords, and up to Ayers rock, the mountains in New Zealand... places like that.

From the film clips on the blog they are showing Africa, Monument Valley in AZ & the Great Wall of China. It would be nice if it ended with the castle of whichever Disney Location you were actually visiting.

I love all of your ideas. I think a ride over the Danube River as it flows through Austria and Hungary would be nice too! And how about over a volcano in Hawaii? So many places that would be interesting!

Yes to the Hawaii Volcano with moving lava. Also Venice, Great Wall of China, Everest, Cherry Blossoms in Japan, Uluru (Ayers Rock) in Australia, Chichen Itza in Mexico, Machu Picchu in Peru, Iguazu Falls In Brazil/Argentina, Geiranger Fjord in Norway, London, Paris, Coloseum in Rome.

Love all the ideas - start in Disneyland - then move to the Asia Disney - follow the globe going East (maybe a dip down to Australia) to Disney France - across to England - over the Atlantic to NYC and then down to WDW.
