Saw a pic from the opening this morning. They were saying the the wait was already 3-5 hours! Line went out though the seating area, up the steps and around the upper level.

I read reports that the music is nearly the same - just some new orchestration that matches the style of the various locations - so if you liked the old music you should like this as well

Loved it! The music and and pre-show are the same. The trip Around The World is WOW!! I've always loved Soarin'!!

I rode the new Soarin' yesterday and I yes, Patrick is still in the preshow. I really enjoyed the new Soarin' more than the old one, but that's just my personal opinion. The ride is definitely best if you sit in section B, row 2. That way you get a more immersive experience rather than seeing the edges of the screen. I sat in section C in the first row and I still enjoyed it, but the middle is much better. New scents are awesome and as a Floridian, I'm okay with the orange scent being gone since I'm always surrounded by oranges lol.

Yep same, had the new theatre but exact same-although the screen shape looked a bit different. Don't miss the original at all already.

We saw it twice last week and LOVED it! We all like it more than the old Soarin'. I agree with the PP that section B, or the middle section, is the best.

I looooved it! The only thing I didn't enjoy was the ocean scent. It smelled like a cheap ocean scented candle to me! Loved the floral scent at the Taj Mahal. Roses, I think?
