Soap weekend at MGM?

We booked out trip over the soap weekend at MGM, without realizing. Are the crowds at MGM going to be horrible that weekend? What can I expect for the line up or if I want to eat at any of the restaurants?

I've been there for Soap Opera Weekends and MGM isn't that bad. Yes, the crowds are higher than normal but not for the attractions. I'd make a reservation or two if you are planning on dining there. Most of the hubbub goes on outside or with the big meet and greets. It's never stopped me from going to MGM. Star Wars Weekends don't either.
