I :love:love  waterparks, but since we usually go in the late spring and fall they never seem to be open when we're in SoCal. Taking a trip to DLR, and thinking about tacking on a day at Soak City in a few weeks since its reasonably priced and the hotels in the areas are really easy on my Marriott Reward point balance. (Looked at Raging Waters, but its a bit far to drive for me.)
Main question is - are there a lot of rides that my DS5 would like? He's 44" and a great swimmer (kind of an essential skill here in Hawaii), but it'll be just me and him so I won't be able to do any rides without him. Will it still be a good time or will we just be stuck in a lazy river/wave pool situation? (Really, I have an ocean in my backyard so the wave pool isn't very exciting for us) Mostly I love slides ...
