I can't comprehend who Ashleigh's fan base is and I really really really can't figure out who is calling in for Ryan. They creep me out....when they were kissing in the first dance we were just covering our faces.

I can handle the kissing. What I must insist never to see again is the pelvic thrusts he tossed in at the end of his solo last week, kind of synchronized to the dance, dance, dance at the end of the countdown. I need bleach, therapy, lobotomy -- something to permanently erase the image from my mind.

He's not the first and likely not the last which is a travesty b/c it disgusts me when any of the guys do it.

I totally agree.

I think the problem was that Kathryn and Noelle looked too much alike. I mean, the guys, there's no way you could confuse Ryan with Jakob or Legacy with Nathan or Russell. But Kathryn and Noelle were both caucasian, with dark shoulder length hair, of about the same height and body type.

I know, I am looking for a sanitizer too and a mind eraser! Between the pelvic thrusts and squiggles things he does and that chest convulsion he threw in at the end I was gagging!

I just can't figure it out. My teen Ds and I each pretty much like a different type of guy...but he creeps all three of us out. Gay guys maybe? I just don't know.

I agree with the consensus - Ashley and ryan need to go next. Heck, they needed to be gone already. Ryan is creepy - his best critique is consistently "great partnering" yet the ultimate prize is for an individual dancer and his solo dancing is not that wonderful.

It's too bad Noelle went home, but I didn't think she would win it all either. Too much similarity between her and Kathryn.

I'd like to see Kathryn, Eleanor, Jacob and Russell in the final 4.

I agree with your final four and truly love to watch each of them. When you throw in the technical factors, I think Jakob & Kathryn take top 2, but I really do love Ellenore & Russell too. Russell just lights up the room w/ his smile & makes everybody feel so good. I had to laugh at his bio clip when they showed his dad & he lit up the same big smile.

Legacy annoyed me in the Vegas round, but I had to rethink my opinion once the top 20 started dancing. He seems like a decent guy & definitely shows a wonderful work ethic.

Both DDs & I get a skeevy vibe from Ryan. He has been in some really good numbers, but I could strangle the judges for picking on his first solo. Come on, he had a shirt buttoned all the way up, did some nice jive-style moves & I was hopeful I was wrong about him. Thanks to some egg-headed critiques it's bare chest or too-tight wife beaters and pelvic thrusts to the melodious sounds of the Scorpions? Ugh!

Did anybody catch that the finale will be six people instead of 4 (or else they'll do double elimination next week)? Cat said the finale is in two weeks. Next week will start with 8 dancers.

They don't want to have the finale on Dec 23rd, I guess. Seems like they could have had one fewer of the audition shows and then had another week of the top 20.

Agreed! I actually liked Ryan at the beginning. He wasn't nearly a favorite, but he didn't skeeve me out like he does now.

I don't dislike Ashleigh, but the other girls are so much better (and more interesting) than her. I could see if she had a fabulous personality, but if she does I'm not seeing it.

After Ryan I'll be sad to see any of the guys go.

....sorry if you misinterpreted my post - I didn't mean to insult your intelligence - it's just that, it seems Ashleigh has a lot of followers, AND, if folks are content to not vote, then they can't complain [or be upset] if one of THEIR faves gets voted off (rather, doesn't have enough votes to stay in the competition)...no harm meant....

I'm not usually fond of the little "meet the dancers" segments, but I loved hearing how Jakob's dad is so into sports and Jakob really tried but then the mom took him to NYC and he was hooked on dance. Hope the dad has always been as accepting as he appeared.

DD looked at me & said exactly what I was thinking, "When did he start dancing, in his teens?" If that's correct, wow, just wow.

I hope Ashley goes. It is not fair to not dance and stay in. I really liked the ballroom last night. Both the cha-cha and the viennese waltz - which I usually find boring were really great. I also loved Travis's dance. That was really well done by Legacy and Elenor.

I really don't want any on the boys to go. I thought they were all great last night. The only dance I did not like was the nappy tabs weird alien dance. I just thought the whole thing was bad.

I don't think it's fair for Ashleigh to remain either. I was really annoyed by Ryan's pitch for votes for Ashleigh at the end & her comments at the start of the show about how she was ready to dance, popped her shoulder back in the socket, etc. I feel bad it happened to her. It's supposedly one of the most excruciating injuries & honestly I feel she won't be 100-percent for finale. IMO at this point they should let Noelle come on to the finale, only not for votes, just for the dances. She's top 10 anyway so why not?

What I found interesting was Russell outdoing both of his partners last night. He genuinely does have a magnetic presence.

Nigel's closing comments annoyed me. "It's not about technique at this point." ?????? Jakob & Kathryn have such superior technique -- AND they perform the heck out of every dance. Love Russell. Love Ellenore. Love Legacy. Still feel Jakob & Kathryn are the top 2 by a mile.
