Well, the vending machine here sells them for $0.65 a piece. Which of course is outrageous, and yet I find myself buying them everyday. So last night at the grocery, they had boxes of these on special (a box of 8 for $1.50). So I'm thinking, buy a box and save $3.70! So I bought a box and brought them into work today.

They are now gone.

 :sad2:

uh.... oops! :) I'm sure you enjoyed them

:rotfl:
I can relate! Sometimes it's easier for me to just pay more than to have to use self control and keep from eating the entire box!

Maybe next time you can only take 1 rice krispie treat to work each day. Hide the rest at home! :teeth:

I buy snacks for my kids that I don't like so I won't eat them all.

Oh my ... you and I share the same "willpower" or complete lack of!

I LOVE rice krispie treats but the blue wrapped factory made ones just don't do it for me. Something about them is off. It's like the Krispies aren't crispy enough and the marshmallow is too rubbery.

:lmao: :lmao: Having a bit of a problem with impulse control, are we?

I wish I could tell you how to fix it, Mal. I just bring in one snack a day--if I brought the whole box, it'd be gone in a day, too. :lmao:

I am just sitting here :rotfl: at myself about this. What's even funnier is DH is always so concerned because he thinks I don't eat enough...

Its funny because I read that as the people you work with ate all your treats :)
We get free lunch almost daily (drug reps) and I have absolute ZERO willpower with the brownies and cookies they bring.

You don't! You are too skinny! :snooty:

Not anymore! I have a brand-spankin' new Krispie Treats belly!

I bet you had a big smile :) on your face as you were enjoying them. I probably would have done the same thing. My willpower is a big fat zero.

Before I ever ate one, I thought those pre-packaged ones would be totally gross. But they really are yummy. They're definitely different from homemade ones, but tasty nonetheless ::yes::.

My wife made rice crispy treats the other day. they are all gone now :(

now I want one. thanks alot :p
