So with the recently reported news that the Meadows Trading Post pool will be receiving a themed slide (in addition to some web crawls for the kids and a hot tub), let's hear some ideas on what you think it should/could be.

I see lots of covered wagons and tepees...lol

I think they should use the River country water tower and have a slide coming out of that....either that or an exact replica of Gatordads butt with a slide coming out of it. Not sure Id really wanna slide down that though.

How about a lazy river that goes through each loop, that way instead of a golf cart, you can just take an inner tube and a cooler and float loop.

Think of the money they would save with my lazy river idea. They could fire all the bus drivers, and get rid of the buses. When you want to go to the marina in the morning, just get your tube and float there.

If yall want to float the campground you need to come to Texas and float the Guadalupe River. The river runs behind your campsite you rent tubes from the campground float and drink beer down the river all day. Then they pick you up down river later in the day and bring you back to the campgrounds, its a blast. That our summer trip.

Theres plenty of tubing in LA too...year before last were were tubing the Bogue Chitto river and wife got caught in a fallen tree while holding the youngest daughter. The current was stronger than you would imagine when trying to swim back to her to help get her out before she dropped the kid...she was 3 then and had on a life vest..but it was pretty scary at the time!!
