yes. I voted in the primaries this year and will be going to the polls later on today. I've been voting consistantly since I was old enough to vote.

Definitely!!!! We always go together as a family (I always bring the kids). Luckily DH and kids are all off for election day, so we're just waiting for the morning (before work) crowd to die down and we're going to walk over (in about 10 minutes). I love voting!!

I voted before work this morning. Polls opened at 7:30 and I was still at work by 7:50 even though the polling place was busy.

Of course. Our county commission and school board have bigger effects on our lives than what's happening in Washington.

Voted by absentee ballot a couple weeks ago since I'm in college. With a father in town government I was raised that it's practically a sin to not vote (although I did skip the first 2 very small elections after I turned 18 ). It will be very nice when he stops calling to make sure I mailed in the ballot (though I've been telling him for the last couple weeks that I did). You know, it'd look bad for him if the selectman's kid didn't vote

I just moved here and haven't been able to register in time. It'll be my first time non-voting in several years.

Could you vote in your old polling place since you haven't been in the new place very long? Seems a shame to be able bodied & not vote if you have the chance... I have to wait ALL DAY for DH to come home and bring me, I wish I could bring myself!

Absolutely. If you don't vote, you can't complain. I like to complain now and then, so I must vote .

Our senate election is crucial to the balance of power this year, so every Virginian should vote!!!
