We will be there 8/11 and 12 and then to CR...but the difference in resorts is $1300 for the remaining 8 nights of our trip! That is a LOT of $$$$$! DH says POP will be jammed now, so best we are doing a split, but heck, for 1300 we can cab it all over the World if we want! I am in "booker's remorse" big time...however, we would pretty much kill each other in 1 room for 10 nights..so would need to book 2 and the the savings is pretty much wiped out, and kids REALLY love the monorail...DH and I would have a Q bed over double.
Anyway...who has booked POP for those days?

I will be there with 2 rooms family of 6 from 8/15 - 8/23. I think our younger kids will prefer the POP to the more expensive resorts. Plus I don't think we spend that much time at the resort. We have never stayed at the POP but have done all stars before. I just feel its the most bang for the buck and with my current family size and ages I would still have to book 2 rooms in a moderate or a deluxe so that makes the cost prohibitive. With 2 teens I think the extra bathroom and extra TV and the extra room are a must. Plus I like the value food courts especially now that I'm on the dining plan.

We haven't booked yet, but will after April 18th (I have to wait until tax season is over, since several of the principles are up to their eyeballs in other people's taxes) but we'll be staying at Pop if there's still availability. We were there last Sept and it really wasn't bad. The wait for the busses felt fairly long, but I think it always does.

We'll be at Pop 8/16-23. First time staying there. I know it'll be cramped with 2 adults, a 10 year old and a 15 year old, but I'm sure we'll only sleep there so we can handle it.
Now if I cvan get airfare for under $1000 for the 4 of us.... :wizard:
See you all there!

Can you tell me the price you were quoted for that? I booked CSR $2366.14 for party of 5 during the same period but I am thinking that we may be better off with 2 rooms at Pop. :sunny: TIA

Two adults, one junior staying at POP for 3 nights 8/14 to 8/17 on a last minute trip to treat dear sister and dear nephew who will be 18 the following week. Last time I treated them to WDW was 9 years ago....

Just called at 4:30 p.m. today....got a Preferred room at POP for Aug. 13-20 (check out on the 20th) with FREE DINING!!!

Hooray!!!

This really is a "spur of the moment" trip. I'm still trying to plan last details for our 9 day trip, staying at CBR in May.
