So, who will be up at midnight to see if a deal has come true on Disney's website?

Just booked the AP rate (without an AP)...not too thrilled. :sad2: WL and Poly were pretty much picked over, so we booked POR. The CM talked me into booking it so we were sure to get it, but I really don't want to stay there, but its a great rate!

Hopefully something else will come out soon.

These are my questions too.:thumbsup2

No this is an AP discount and you can add dining, but you pay for it. There are rumors that free dining will be extended, but usually that doesn't include a room discount, too.

I called and asked for it! :thumbsup2 There was no mention of having an AP, but I would just get one for check in if I decide to keep this deal.

there is a booking code - you have to log onto the AP site to get it:thumbsup2
Got mine WL Courtyard View $219 per night :banana::banana:

According to the CM I spoke with, it's both a room discount and "free" dining, it's just that the RD is less than for a room only stay.

They did this last year for Disney Visa cardholders.

Cool! When is that supposed to be released!?

Hmmm, might need to change our dates! Was CY all that was available or did you specifically request that? Is $219 with tax included?

Thanks! Trying to figure all this out!

they had standard view available - but bunkbeds only

HLAuburn - at the time I checked they had standard view at AKL for $169

If I already have a package booked at CSR, and they release the discount rates to general public next Monday, I can call and apply that to my package, correct?
My big concern is that the rate will be good only for a "select amount" of rooms at each resort, and if those are all taken, I'd still have to pay the non-discount rate... Or does having a room already booked there guarantee you the new rate?

She said Friday for visa cardholders and Monday for the public. They did not offer this to the public last year for this timeframe. And notice I put scare quotes around "free", because, basically, we got it for $630 rather than $1000 or whatever it would have been.
