So, Who Is Going, and Did You Go on the 1st One?

I went on the 1st one but can't for the 2nd one - have to save and save for our 12 night Northern European cruise next July - plus I am holding one to move to 2011 or 2012

pulp417 and I don't know anyone, but we love the podcast and look forward to a great time meeting everyone and going on our first Disney Cruise!!! It will be my second cruise, pulp's first ever!

I can guarantee by the time you go on this cruise you'll know more people than you ever imagined! When we walked into the terminal is was like arriving at a family reunion. I kept thinking to myself how strange it was that I was meeting people for the first time that felt like we'd been friends for years! It was pretty cool. :thumbsup2

Sounds like a good idea for next years muddy buddy training!!

Thinking ahead. I like it. Good plan. Just have to work on how to keep ADP in the pit longer.....:scratchin

Greenmonster12 and I are going on this one. My first cruise ever.

As Lisa said, you'll know a whole bunch of people. In October of 2008 when I booked for the first podcast, I knew absolutely nobody. Then I started posting and got to know people. DP & I went to a meet at Doorway to Dreams in Chicago and met Jason and Shanan (and some other DISers, too). By the time May 8th (the day I arrived in Orlando) I knew a whole bunch of people. And by the time May 16th (the day I left  ) I knew even more. We are from every walk of life and from differing segments of society, put everyone is warm and friendly. Like Paul was saying before dinner at the Poly on Saturday before the cruise: "The boards are great. Without them, the chances of us ever meeting are non-existent."

So in short, book it. You'll have fun. And you have 18 months to get to know people. You won't be sorry.:goodvibes

Thank you so much for the nice words! We put a request in a few days ago so we are going!! It will be my 30th Birthday and I can't think of a better way to spend it! Looking forward to meeting everyone!

We couldn't make the first podcast cruise because of a conflict with my brother-in-law's wedding but I just sent in a quote request for the next one. I hope to have 4 of us cruising.
