So who is calling tomorrow to get on the member cruise?

It would be nice if it did not sell out; it might give DVC the message that they did push it on the points/cash this time. Most of us go for the fun and company with our fellow DISers, but probably those DVCers who don't belong to message boards (hard to believe but i bet there's alot), just thought this was too much. I remember my survey had more NOT going than going. It would also be nice to have a less-than-sold-out ship!

And we thought just the opposite, looking forward to 2 days at CC and a day at sea. Not interested in a repeat visit to Nassau and KW was nice, but have been there on two different cruises already. And they don't have the range to go much of anywhere else on a 4 day.

And yes it sold out at 2pm, still a good bit away.

I personally think the phone issues are slowing down booking. Lot of people hit 3 get dead air and think they're disconnected.

It will sell out on cabins. But it won't be a sold out ship as far as capacity. Wasn't for the last two either. Typically as far as people, it was about 3/4 full for the '05 and the '03. Where in a regular sailing, you'd have 2 adults and 2 kids (or more) per group, these member events get more couples going without the kids.

Infact the kids get treated like royalty, as the counselor to kid ratio goes way way up with there being so many less kids onboard.

And as far as it being more points, all cruise bookings have gone up in price, not just this one.

It is taking MUCH longer to book this year than last year - I was on with the rep for over 15 minutes and she went through all the aspects of the ship ... great, but not for those on hold!
