We are very excited! We went on a tour last summer but didn't buy in. I mentioned how much money we were spending for our trip this August and we should look into this again. That got the DW wheels spinning. She told me there would be lots of photo opportunities and I was sold!

Dh and son bought me the new Nikon P80 I haven't had time to test it yet, but if I don't like it I have 15 days to exchange it for the D60.

I got the Nikon D40 with 2 lenses, a bag, 3 filters (polarizer, UV and cross) with 2 instructional DVD's provided by Nikon.

Plus I got the Nikon D40 for dummies book.

two funny, never mind then.
I almost bought a monopod before leaving for this last trip. Had my finger on the button to order it. Then realized what I really needed was a compact tripod to replace the Slik that broke. A monopod would have to wait. Glad I did. The tripod made a difference on this trip.
