during Candlelight Processional?

If you can't get a regular lunch ADR at 180+10 (even if it's for the last day of your trip), how do you ever get one?

Are you asking about getting the Candlelight Processional Package at Le Cellier or just about getting a Le Cellier ADR? If it's the latter, just keep trying. People's plans change so things open up over time.

It was explained to me 2 years ago that a certain number of ressies are held back for CP so there will be some available when they begin booking those. Call the dining res. number and ask when they will begin taking CP ressies. Le Cellier will probably be difficult, but someone will get them..might as well be you! Good luck!:flower3:

If it's just for a regular lunch and not CP, just keep checking back online and/or by phone. I've been able to get one every time we've gone. Just be persistent!

What we've found in the past is about this time of year they start blocking the Epcot restaurants that will be part of the CP Dining Package. The CP dining reservations will be limited to certain hours of the afternoon/early evening. Once Disney decides what time and how many res slots to keep for CP, they start releasing times - usually the later evening and early lunch times which won't be included in the CP Package will show up first.

If you are not planning to do the CP Dining Package, eventually times will open up. If, however, you're waiting to book CP those will begin booking later in the summer probably - last year it started on July26. As soon as it's announced someone will post it here on the Dis.

phewf thanks for this info... I woke up bright and early this morning to book my 180+10 and was miserable about the lack of selection for Epcot restuarants (No Le Cellier, no Coral Reef, no Garden Grill, no R+C). I did get other reservations at Epcot and it might be good to try something new, but I'm addicted to the previously mentioned ones and I'm one of those if its not broke don't fix it kinda girls. Guess I'll just keep waiting until Disney lets some go...also guess this means I should start racking up frequent visitor miles to the Disney Dining Reservations website :rolleyes1

Not sure this year - is our 4th year going at this time of year and have never seen so many Epcot restaurants TOTALLY blocked out.

I know last year there was availability at Le Cellier right at 180. The latest time available was oh, it was either 1:20 or 1:40 - can't remember which... but that was it, and rest blocked out till dinner times that were later, meaning too late for CP times.
Same with GGrill we're waiting on - at least later dinner times were available.

Hate how so much gets blocked out for CP - and now it seems it ALL is blocked out for entire lunch/dinner periods for certain restaurants.
Really frustrates me as we have NO desire to do a CP package - or even see it. Walked by it last year and stood to check out what all the huge fuss was about.... eh, I guess it is nice - but sorry, even with a package and then still standing in line forever to get in, I just don't see they hype and I guess I have even more dislike for it since it means stuff getting blocked out and unable to book.

for now our Epcot day is late lunch at Via Napoli - and then all the way back into WS later for dinner at Tutto - yep, pasta twice in a day. We're picky eaters, and nothing else in WS appeals to us, and no TS other than GG in FW, so we're kinda stuck. Would try Rose & Crown - but not available.

They will typically block out a much larger portion of tables for CP than they will eventually use. When the CP packages do get released, the final numbers are entered and there will likely also be normal ADRs opening up at that time. I think they'd rather block out too many and open some up later, than block out too few and have to overbook (or cancel those already made).

Of course, as seen above, this is annoying for those not interested in CP (trust me, I would be very annoyed as well, and it's one of the reasons that I don't go later in the year...), but they will open up normal ones on the CP date, will just have to keep on top of that and keep trying.
