My brother gave me the nickname 'queen b' when I was a teenager, before I'd ever even been to WDW. My name starts with a B. First thing I thought of when creating name for this board.
I honestly don't remember as it has never been any kind of nickname of mine. I had a Winnie-the-Pooh teapot collection years ago (still have put in storage now) - just always liked Pooh. I respect Pooh's life strategy
The funny part is Pooh bores me to tears. I don't think I've ever made it through and entire movie without falling asleep - we used to put it on to get ds to take a nap
I think I may have carried it over from one of the old British message boards that was shutting down and referring people to the DIS. Too long ago to remember.
I could have really picked any sport that my boys play but for some reason when I was registering football just popped in my head, then I just borrowed 1/2 of Mickey's name.
I have 3 sons, 5 grandsons and 1 grandaughter. Her little brother could not say her name (Coleman) and called her Coco - so I am Cocosmeme. Took me a long time to get a girl in the family.
A little off-topic, but I had so many friends growing up that did that! The best one was back when at Bob Evans, they used to give kids mini bags of Goldfish. My family was eating there with another family (interestingly enough, this was the family we went on a few Disney trips with, and this incident happened the night before we flew there for one of the trips), and when our food got to the table, one of their kids (who is the same age as me- we were about 13 or so when this happened) took out his retainer and put it in one of the empty Goldfish bags that was on the table. There were about 5 of said bags scattered around the table, which made it really interesting for him to find it again once it was time to leave, especially since the waiter had already cleared off the table by then...
It happens all the time. We give them a case to put them in while eating and always tell them never wrap them in a napkin or paper towel(maybe we also need to mention empty snack bags) because they will end up in the garbage but I've still heard many stories of dumpster diving to find those retainers. They are quite expensive to replace. I work with patients sometimes too. The first rule after getting braces is NO GUM. I have had patients actually walk in for an appointment chewing the gum! Nobody listens. Keeps me busy though! LOL!
I just joined this sight since we're planning our October 2012 trip and I wanted a name that reminded me of my kids. They both love Mickey Mouse so mymickeyfans it was!!!

I am a big baseball fan as well as a big Disney Fan. The funny part is that my DW had to point it out to me that those were my two biggest passions (outside of family).
She got me a small statue of mickey holding a baseball bat for my birthday, and out of that was spawned a collection of all things that combine WDW and baseball. There was an overwhelming amount of items out there, so to help make it more manageable, I try to limit character items to mickey only.
