when I was growing up my Dad's nickname for me was "Chum". When I was in high school I was involved with a lot of extra curricular activities like the school play and such. He would come to pick me up at the end of the day and would come looking for me in the school cafeteria. When he would find me he would say "Are you ready to go chum?" in front of all my friends. As a teenage girl, I was mortified that he would call me "chum" in front of my friends and I asked him to stop doing that.

He passed away in 1984 when I was 20 years old and in college. Now I would give anything to hear him call me "chum" again. My screen name is a nod to him, and he loved Disney as well. If he were still here with me I am sure we would have taken multiple trips to the World by now and he would have loved how it has changed and grown since our first trip as a family in 1976.

When I first joined we were getting ready to go to Disney at Christmas time. So I was thinking about the holidays and then I thought about the song from Mary Poppins!! That's how I come up with the name!
