So, what's the scoop about the new annual pass for weekdays, only?

Does anyone know the ins and outs of this new pass, yet? It sounds like a good idea but I'd like to know more. If this has been asked before, please forgive me for being in the dark.

I went to a few different sites a few days ago and I couldn't find public info at that time. Even Disney hadn't updated their site in the tickets area.

What's everyone's opinion about this new option? I'm curious about how well it will work when Saturdays are the usual nights to show the laser light parade at MK.

I believe this is the "Southern California Resident Select" pass that is offered only at Disneyland CA. It's $99, good at both parks there, but only good 170 days out of the year- no weekends, most of the summer blacked out, no Christmas week. Only people who live within certain ZIP codes in Southern California can purchase it. Sorry, I know, it's probably a disappointment.....

It is for Disneyland only and NOT WDW in Florida. They are trying to get more crowds in during the week in CA. WDW does not need anymore crowds! LOL!

This ticket media is not available in Walt Disney World, only in Disneyland in California.
