So whats the real deal with the Indy stunt show?

I keep hearing rumors that it's closing. Does anyone know if it will be up and running in Feb 2004. DBF was most looking forward to this, and I really hope the rumors aren't true

I can't imagine it closing. They just did a major rehab about 1 1/2-2 years ago.

You'll probably be okay for February, but I've heard that they are replacing it with the Indy ride like they have in DL. I hadven't heard any official announcement so who knows.

I posted something about this in another thread, but I'll summarize here. The rumor floating about is that the Indy show may be closed once the auto stunt show opens in late 2005. The line of thinking is that they two attractions would overlap significantly (both action stunt shows), and that combined with the somwhat dated nature of the IJ show, it would close-up shop and be replaced with a replica of the IJ ride from Disneyland.

If this does happen, I don't see it occurring before the 2005 opening of the auto stunt show.

And, as with anything else, it belongs squarely in the "rumor" category until a reputable source steps forward with details.

i can only hope that the above rumor ends up being true. I am not here to bash IJ stunt show, but once was enough for the 3 of us. I welcome the idea of a IJ ride much like the one in DL.
