So, what's the bottom line on the kids tickets free?

I have been anxiously waiting for the 2011 deal, and now that it is here my husband wants to know "what the bottom deal?". I guess he is wondering if this is a real deal and the hotel prices aren't going up to make up for the free tickets?! What do you think? I am excited but want to know if this truly saves money compared to the 30-40% off hotel deals. Thanks for your input.

The bottom line is the the number of kids you have (ages 3-9) and the number of days you would buy a park ticket for (minimum of 4 days and max of 10).

Here's the current ticket prices (not including tax).

That's your bottom line. The price of the room does is regular price (rack rate). You can find rack rates for each resort HERE at Mousesavers.com.

Now, is this deal better than a 30-40% off of hotel rooms. Depends on what hotel, what type of room, how many nights.

You have to do the math. Call Disney and have them price it out for you each way.

To compare apples with apples you must be sure the components of each package are the same. As in same travel dates, same resort and room category, same number of days on the park ticket (either with or without park hopper/water parks), same dining plan or not.

HTH! :wizard:

We stay at Pop so the kids free worked out better for us than the % off because the % off is lower than if we were staying at a deluxe resort.. If your staying at the more expensive resorts, then % off the room may work out better for you. You just have to do your math both ways and see what works out best. :)

whats the promo for kids free i havent seen that commercial yet n all i see on the website is 30% off one unless im over looking it:hippie::confused:

Thank you so much! Mrs D thanks for laying it out clearly like that. I think I needed it spelled out for me on how to do the math, LOL. I see that value resorts would be a good deal. So now I need to figure out if I want something like a moderate instead. THANKS! :)
