OK..I feel like I am forgetting something..

Heres our Thanksgiving dinner for 11:

24 pound Turkey
stuffing
cranberry suace
mashed potatoes
green bean casserole
yams
pumpkin pie
jello

What else?

What are you all making??
 
for 8-9 people....
19 lb turkey
dresssing and gravy
broccoli casserole ( family fav, I am told I HAVE to make it)
sweet pototo casserole
parkerhouse rolls
cranberry sauce
pecan pie
pumkin cheesecake ( from the Cheescake Factory)
.... and a friend is coming to join us and bringing a scalloped corn casserole
 
19 lb. turkey (for just the 3 of us -- we LOVE leftovers)

I'm doing all but the broccoli bake and taters today. I work retail management and plan on spending most of my thanksgiving RELAXING with my family!

I tried getting DH to consider going out for dinner, but he really likes the idea of leftovers for the next week or so to make life easier on the nights I'm working late...I see an augratin potato and ham casserole next week, yummy! :)

The first thing that popped out from your list was the Mirlitons and I had to look to see where you're from, LOL!! That whole spread sounds awesome! I'd love to have the pecan pie for dessert, but the rest of the family won't eat it.

start with antipasto (cold cuts, cheeses, marinated artichoke hearts, mushrooms, olives, roasted red peppers, etc.) Italian family, we have antipasto for everything.

Thanks, it is awesome. We always have a South Louisiana theme for our Thanksgiving dinner because our Christmas dinner is more traditional.

I'll save a piece of pecan pie especially for you. ;)

These menus sound yummy! We are going to my mom's house for dinner. I'm bringing a couple of desserts. I'm still not completely sure what I'm making. There will be 10 of us at dinner I an will make 2 things.

There is another dessert I had recently and it was so good that I'm thinking of making it too. It was called Death By Chocolate Trifle. I will post that recipe on the recipe board as well.
