So whatever happened with the friges?

There was all kinds of talk that friges were being put in the deluxe (and maybe others?) hotels as a standard item, rather than by request. Was this ever completed? What hotels now include a frige as standard in all rooms? Thanks!

I would like to know this too. When we were there this past November there were no fridges in our WL room. I am specifically curious about the Polynesian.

I do not have personal knowledge ob this but other people have posted that the refrigerators are in place at the deluxe and moderate resorts.

There are suppose to be fridges in all moderate and deluxe hotels by now. If for some reason there isn't any in your room all you need to do is call up at the front desk and they will deliver one to you.

Be warned if you are in a value your fridge will still cost you some money.
Which is really a shame because the folks in the values probably could use the fridge.

fridges are in place. have seen them personally at AKL, Poly CSR & POR.

We were at the Poly end of April and had to request a fridge. It was brought to us within a few hours.

back in Feb. our friends had a fridge in their room at poly but im not sure if it was by special request

if you go to allearsnet.com there is a picture of a fridge in a PORRiverside room. Go to accomidations and ther to text pictures POR Riverside it says new in yellow next to the picture.

a little off the subject but Pinocchio what is beer pong and I am guessing a fridge would come in handy for that.

Fridges were $10.70 per day at Values--free if you need it for medical purposes.

Had to ask for it at WL in October, asked repeatedly at Poly, never delivered during same trip, in place at YC in Feb and it was promptly sent up at teh GF in April. I know, we're sick, going that much!

Beer Pong is a drinking game played on a ping pong table...no fridge required.

We've had fridges in AKL, Contemporary, Beach Club, Yacht Club, and Coronado Springs. I think that's everywhere we've stayed (except Pop Century, which won't have them) since the fridges were added.

Just wanted to add that we stayed at the WL in March. There wasn't a fridge in the room when we checked-in, but we called housekeeping and they brought one up within 10 minutes. All you have to do is ask if one isn't in the room.

Fridges will be in all the deluxe and mod rooms once they get enough. They are free. If you happen to get a room without one then simply call mousekeeping and they will bring it up FREE. No biggie!

Why is that? I would think everyone could use a fridge....

Probably because you pay more for the mods and deluxes. Pay more, get more.

No fridges in our rooms at GF last December, but we made a phone call and they were brought up within minutes.
