So what is the actual reasoning behind no FOTL on FJ?

Not particularly annoyed or anything, just curious. People pay a lot of money to stay onsite, sometimes this is mainly for the fotl privileges, such as myself.

Seems like there shouldn't be too much of a wait if you go first thing or use single riders, but still, I think people expect more of a benefit than this, and a lot of people did expect at least one fotl when they booked special packages.

So what is the actual reasoning behind no fotl on FJ and to a lesser extent RRR (apart from breaking down every 45 minutes)

(apologies if this has been explained in detail before)

My guess is they want to get as many people through the ride and having Express slows the line down. I don't know what the reason is for the lack of an Express line for Rockit. Since it's been a year that the HR3 has been open, I would have thought an Express line would be available now. I heard it had to do with the moving sidewalk at the loading platform not working but I'm not sure.

I imagine that since onsiters already get 1 hour of early entry (which is basically express) and the regular GP crowds are so huge, they want to get as many GPers through. Allowing onsiters to go through the express line over and over while GPers are still waiting in line would just make for a huge standby line ( and it is already huge enough).

But I thought folks were being told not that they'd get to ride express over and over, but that they'd get one FJ express per day. That sounded and still sounds fair to me. Keeping my fingers crossed that maybe by December they'll have at least some type of express line for on-site visitors because it'll be H - A - R - D for me to get my family out of bed at 6:30 / 7:00 AM!

FJ won't have an express line but the will have a single rider's line which makes it E-A-S-Y to get through. The only basic difference between an express line and a single riders line is that the express doesn't split groups up. They both skip all of the theming that adds to the enjoyment of the ride for many people.

Yup they did say that. But they're not doing it now during peak time. No one knows when the rules will change. Just use singles with an adult going first and last so an adult is there to meet everyone once they get off the ride. You can't interact during the ride anyways because of the way the seats are arranged. I really suggest you use the normal line first to see everything.

You mean right NOW, right? Because going thru the queue, there are 3 distinct lanes for walking. Regular, singles & EP.

I had heard HRRR wouldn't have express till the moving loading sidewalk was fixed. Well, it was fixed when we were there last week and still no EP. Guessin' cuz of all the breakdowns?

Talking w/ a TM one day too, she said she wouldn't be surprised if FJ got express BEFORE HRRR.

what? :confused3

HRRR just loads so slowly that it is tough to keep up with the lines. The capacity of FJ is really good so I can see express before HRRR.

When we were at USF in February, the moving sidewalk was working. So they've had a long time to practice. It is just a slow loading ride.

There's no reason to hold off on express for FJ. The lines haven't been as long as expected and the breakdowns have been minimal for a new attraction. The line was built to hold seven hours of people, allegedly and it never really gets past 90 minutes.

Well you can stand around and hope there is an express line or you can take advantage of the singles line that is working now. If it were me I'd work on the now and worry about the hope when you see it.

We just had a terrific downpour which may empty the park so we'll probably head over to WWOHP and give it a go. If an express line shows up while we're there I promise I'll let you know about it.
