Our trip is officially two weeks away as of today!

Of course, I realize I'll have to stalk The Weather Channel once we're a little closer, but I'm trying to get some of the things ready right now, and I really don't know what to expect once you factor in humidity, etc. (we live in CO with almost no humidity).

What can we expect the weather to be like for our trip? What sort of clothing will we need? Our family consists of me, my husband, and our two boys. One just turned two and the other will turn four while we're in WDW!

Thanks!
:)

I have only been once in November and it was the week before Thanksgiving in 2006. The weather was awesome! I think it kind of depends on where you are coming from. I live in NC...so I was comfortable in jeans and short sleeves with a sweatshirt early in the am and at night. Capris would have been good most days also. There were many people in shorts, but I expect that they live in colder climates and it probably felt like high summer to them. You could tell the locals because they dressed like it was freezing out!

I happened to look the other since ours is coming up too, it is like 80-88 down there...since we aren't going for a few weeks--I don't know what to pack...I wonder if I should make two piles--if it's hot pile or if its not! When I looked it up it didn't say anything about the humidity--my hair hates the humidity. I think it said chance of rain for everyday that I looked.

best bet is to just watch the weather forcast, i'm in northwest florida and it changes day to day, i was in t shirt and shorts today and thermal underwear shirt and sweatshirt 2 days ago. we will be going in 3 weeks and i am hoping for the weather to be like it was here today. we were there once in december and it was record cold temps. the most miserable trip ever. keeping my fingers crossed for the warm weather for us all.

Last time I went in Nov of 04 it was shorts and sweatshirt in the early morning, then shorts and t shirt, then jeans and sweatshirt at night after dark. we swam in the pool during the day as well.

It starts to get cooler here usually right after Halloween. We did have a cool day or two around Oct 17th. It varies though we don't have cold months, just cold weeks from time to time. Mid novemeber could range anywhere between 50 degree to 80 degrees depending upon weather

Argh. I will just have to pack at the last minute, I guess. Hate that! Oh well. Thanks, though!

I will, in the meantime, plan on shorts and t's during the day...maybe a sweatshirt at morning and night...and jeans at night.

Not the best circumstances for packing lightly, are they? ;)

This year, it's especially hard to gauge weather.
Right now, with a few days until November, it's still near 90 during the day, around 70 at night. We had three days of beautiful weather a week or so back of 75 day, 50's at night, but that's gone again :(

Hi,
we were there last Nov, 11/7-11/15. Weather was awesome. Mid 70s, no humidity for first 4 days, last 3 days mid 80s and humid. Not crowded at all. It's a great time to go. Enjoy!

daytime was great, not to hot/cold, but night time after 6pm, brrr...one night got down to 10 degrees C !!!

We're going Thanksgiving week and I've told everyone to be prepared for cool mornings and evenings and warm afternoons. Like PPs said, the weather is quite changeable in FL, so unfortunately you have to pack heavier for Fall / Winter travel, even though it may be 80 degrees everyday, you just can't predict it. Have a great trip!

In November, I recommend that you dress in layers. This is because in the mornings and evenings it can get rather chilly, but late-morning through the late-afternoon are quite nice.

We're going mid November too, and I've been told around this time the weather changes A LOT during the day. It's almost like San Diego. In San Diego, we'll be wearing jeans, a jacket one hour, a tank top the next hour. I usually just dress in layers like someone mentioned. =)

I'm going to WDW on Thursday and the forecast says 20% chance precipitation for most of the time I'm there! AHHH! How has the weather been? And with a 20% chance is that just a quick shower?

Is anyone there now?

HELP!

i just checked the 10 day cause i leave on saturday... it looks decent, warm in the afternoon and cool @ nite... :cool1:
my mom has been down in fla. for a couple weeks now, she is by daytona... and she said the weather has been awesome

We're leaving Friday as well! Staying at POP till Tuesday then heading home.

Weather report says high of 81, low of 61, with a chance of scattered showers on Monday...

I'm taking two pairs of jeans, and two pair of long shorts.

I've been seing 20% chance precipitation Thurs- Mon! I'm just hoping all that COULD mean is a quick shower! :sad2:
