Hello all and welcome to my 12 days til Disney Pre-trip Report!! (insert applause and cheers here)
Thank you, thank you...
In this pre trip report you will learn about myself and the rest of the crew, what's been planned, and read what stresses I find myself in prior to departure day.
So shall I start? (cheers and applause)
Ok... Here we go....
(taken from my phone, only pic I have by myself)
(Im the one on the left, taken with my daughter at the Bronx Zoo last summer)
Hi my name is Amy. Im a 29 1/2 yr old mother to an awesome 4 year old girl. I am an ultrasound tech in a hospital high risk ob/gyn department. I live in New York about an hour north if NYC, and I work in Ct. I absolutely love my job and it has taught me to look at life in a whole new perspective. This is my second career and I will never look back!
I have been to Disney world 8 times. I wish I could go every year, maybe eventually it will happen.
I don't really have one specific favorite character, if someone was holding a gun to my head I'd say Mickey.
My favorite rode has to be Tower of Terror. And again I can't choose a favorite park, but ill say Magic Kingdom.
Adrina... My 4 year old princess. This is her very 1st trip to Disney! I am overly excited to bring her... Like I have been planning this day since she was born! Oh yeah she's excited also... I have brainwashed her with the Disney brand from early early on... You disers would agree that I'm a great mom for doing so, right?
Anyway Adrina enjoys all things Disney. From the princesses to the fairies to even Cars!! She's almost as obsessed as I! It's just that she's never been to the world yet so full obsession hasn't yet kicked in. She is super excited to ride Haunted Mansion (one of her favorite shows is Ghost Hunters, lol). I really hope she doesn't cry in it!! I will def be
if she does... yeah i'm THAT mom!
(Nick DBF, hes the bald one)
Nick... My dbf... He's 33 and we've been dating for almost 2 years. He's an awesome stand up man, with an amazing history, bad and good. He is a manager at a guide dog school for the blind here in NY. He manages the student housing and food stuff.. I know there's a fancier name for it, and it's more important than it sounds and I know theres more responsibilities to it, I just dont know the exact title.
Oh, he's also a chef! More for my personal use
banana
only because of physical reasons he's unable to work in a real restaurant kitchen.
This trip is technically his 2nd trip to Disney. His first trip was when he was like 7 years old, and he said it was so horrible he basically blocked it out if his mind. So I am determined to make this trip the best ever so he will want to return multiple times.., however this will be hard because a) he hates crowds!! B) gets anxiety when there's a lot of people & c) impatient with people ... So can you catch my drift? I have a good feeling that there will be a couple of "those" moments between he and I On this trip! Lol
Since nick is a chef he's all about Ratatouille (sp?) so I really hope Remy is out when we eat at Chefs. He's most looking forward to eating and seeing Adrina and mine's excitement, and I'm sure he's excited about the Mouse too... Who wouldn't be?
Unfortunately I have no current pics of the Parental Units, so you can leave that up to your imagination
Mom and dad.., I'll keep this short. They are in there 50's and coming along.., I think they are most excited to see adrinas face when we get there! They have been to Disney multiple times and could probably take it or leave it. But with adrina there... They will take it.
Shall we move on? Ok great!!!
Thank you, thank you...
