I've got a Resort/Pool View room booked, which on Disneyland's booking website is listed as Enjoy a memorable view of the Never Land Pool, Downtown Disney® District or Disney California Adventure™ Park from the third floor though sixth floor of the enchanted Disneyland® Hotel and I was hoping that we might get a view which included Downtown Disney and fireworks in the evening.
However when I contacted the resort a few days before our arrival (tomorrow, yay!!) two separate Front Desk/room assignment cast members told me by email in no uncertain terms that this booking category does not include any rooms with a Downtown Disney view (e.g. Adventure tower, facing DTD) but ONLY includes inner-facing pool views. They say the "Resort" part of the room description refers to the Disneyland Hotel Resort, not the wider Disneyland Resort.
So what is the real story - who is right, the website description or the hotel staff? Seems very misleading to me.
