So what do you think of this purse?

We went shopping yesterday and saw these at a few department stores and even knock-offs in quiosks (sp?) in the middle of the mall! They're awful!

They have them here on the boardwalk. DD and I were looking at them last night with kind of a love/eww feeling.

It amazes me that the woman had the nerve to model the hat herself. But then, it didn't really look like the purses. (when I first typed "purses", I slipped. You can imagine what my fingers were typing!)

They had a huge selection of them at Mervyn's when I was in Houston about a month ago. I almost got one of the black bustier ones for my DD, because she had been asking me for a black bustier,, so I thought this was an amusing compromise

I got Replica Pochettes for my DD and myself. I got the White Murakami and Sarah got the Cherry Blossom Pochette (the same one that's in the movie "The Mean Girls".
I don't think they are even "good" replicas either.
I'm embarassed to take in out in Public, I'm afraid people will know it's a replica.

If you visit this site it will help you detect the fakes from the authentic.

The white Murakami is really popular right now, but I like the old fashioned brown canvas signature line. It's timeless and can be carried any time of year.

Well sorry to disappoint, but I don't want a bustier purse to go with my butterfly shoes. I did buy a cute pink bag to go w/them today tho! I like my purses sans breasts, normally. Sorry, you'll have to find another buyer!
