Lost Continent is themed to myths and legends so I think they can stretch the idea of things being based on pretty much anything.

And you can read about those myths and legends in books. Idk, right now it's hard for me to picture Nintendo in IOA.

You can find books about pretty much anything. To me, as long as it is about adventure, it fits into Islands of Adventure. However, it is going into USF.
