That is right. Other than pins what other Disney items do you collect? In fact how about all you that don't collect pins.... What type of Disney stuff do you collect?

Wow, that's a loaded question. :-)

Let's see, I have the attraction prints, several WDW plates, snow globes, plush, lithos, cels, a few WDCC, the Dept 56 Disney pieces, mugs, postcards, monorail related items, license plates from the parks & resorts, pretty much anything Pirates of the Caribbean & Haunted Mansion related, old Disney brochures/guides/books, anything Walt...the list goes on. ;)

Phew. Also I've become obsessed with anything related to the 100 years celebration. My computer room is my Disney room, but I'm running out of space & think I'll be converting the guest room soon.

Anything at all Haunted Mansion or Nightmare before Christmas related! We've really been in 7th heaven this year... especially with the Haunted Mansion snowglobe, resin light up house, and playset! :)

=Tabby=

Well let's see; Tinker Bell stuff, clothes, watches, clothes, books, clothes, Dopey figurines, clothes, sheets, and did I say CLOTHES!! All my friends always ask me if I own any clothes without a Disney character on them, my response is not much. I know I am missing a whole bunch of stuff.

I just started with the pins, and haven't even made a trade yet, so I guess I still count. :teeth:

I collect mostly Pooh stuff. Anything Pooh...clothes, plush, figures, clocks, watches, etc. My whole kitchen is done in Pooh... wallpaper border, clock, kitcheware, linens, aprons, and a big cardboard Pooh floating with a balloon on one wall. Also magents from the parks, cruise, etc on the fridge.

I collect the Disney ornaments... enough that our 8' tree is done only in Disney. I try to get at least one from every movie, but usually end up with several from each.

I've also recently started collecting prints to frame from any of the movies... the lithographs, movie posters, etc.

I just starting collecting a new item. They come in different sizes and shapes. Some are green, others copper and nickel plated. I'm not used to having many of these so it has been difficult finding many. They all have numberson them. I think its called money. I'm searching for the elusive retirement bill. Anyone have one for trade?

well for me it's POOH!! I've been collecting for over 25 years. I have everything from soup to nuts!! I even have a large cookie with pooh on it that I bought on our honeymoon at the Poly over 18 years ago. Then there's clothes, jewelry, watches, beanies, plush, statues, phones, jewelry boxes, plates, mugs, candles, cookie jars, crystal,dishes-everyday and Christmas, tea-pots, movie posters, litho's, dolls, comic books, books, coloring books, pez dispensers, etc etc etc!!

Remember the "weebles" toys, I even have a Pooh weeble!!

I can't help myself, my name is Winnie. Oh and yes...duh....I have Pooh pins. Over 500 last count. Am I obsessive or what??

Blessings,
Winnie

PS:MICHEAL!!! My butterfly is moving!!! It's so cute!!! Thank you!!
I feel so special!

Everything!!

ok snowglobes - lithos/cells - capidmonte sculptures - anything HM - phone covers - clocks - watches - anything from the 70's for WDW.

Lately I have been adding to my posters/paintings collection. I love old attraction posters so I am working on putting together the whole park collection from WDW.

I have also given in to the princess addiction - but just Snow White - poster - figurines(any material) - plush etc...

I have several cels and framed pin sets. I also have a framed stamp & coin set. I have some snow globes and WDCC pieces.
I collect the disc ornaments that Disney puts out every year. Like TabbyKitty, I love the Haunted Mansion, and try to get my hands on any HM stuff I can find!

I have been collecting the mickey head pencils -- at least one for each trip, and always a different color. I have branched out a little, and also have all the star shaped, musical notes, and guitar shaped pencils from MGM too. The only pen is the white Minnie head with the bridal veil -- for our 20th wedding anniversary trip.

I also have a few of the mini princess snowglobes. I am planning to add a few more of these on my next trip -- I think there is one for each park and a 100 Years one I'd like to have.

Animation cels, watches, license plates, books, snow globes, movie posters, records and anything that has something to do with WDW.

We need a bigger house!:teeth:

This is a fun thread -- I love reading about what others collect. :)

I've collected Eeyore since I was a little girl (that was -- ahem -- a couple of decades ago LOL!). They must be *grey* though! He's the old *grey* donkey, not the old BLUE donkey! (I have a personal vendetta against whoever decided he should be blue, but dh is sort of glad 'cuz he thinks it's saved us money! LOL)

I've always collected pins on trips, even before we started going to WDW. Of course the majority of my collection is Disney-related.

Ever since our first family trip to WDW 4 years ago, I love anything having to do with the Castle. Tinkerbell has also become one of my favorites, and I looove Stitch, too!

Oh, I also have an ever-growing collection of Mickey antenna balls. LOVE those! :teeth:

Dh collects things having to do with the WDW trains: we have large framed posters of the WDW Railroad and BTMRR in our front room hanging over our log-frame sofa, and he has a big ol' replica of the Lilly Belle that he *had* to have after he took the Behind the Trains tour last year. Our front room is also starting to look like the WL -- we have a couple of framed prints and photos of the VWL, and dh bought the WL Lincoln Logs set for him and ds to assemble and display on our entertainment center.

For me, surprise... Lion King stuff.

This includes watches, books, musical statues, movie posters from the US and foreign countries, towels, shirts, lithographs, WDCC, maquettes, glass figurines, paintings, sericels, limited edition cels, feature animation limited cels, production backgrounds from the TV show, the feature movie and the sequel and paintings made for the Disneyana Conventions.

And pins......

I am now turning my attention to Pluto.

For Us - DH and I we have finally had to contain ourselves to Walt.

We've got two DIsney rooms and "things" are quickly expanding into all areas of our home.

It all started eleven years ago on our honeymoon. DH and I own our own business and he was always enthralled with Walt and how the man built the empire we know today. Anyway - we bought a plate with Walt and Disney charachters over his head by Charles Boyer.

From there it has gone nuts - more CHarles Boyer (lithos, signed prints, etc...) black and white of Walt and his, and family, etc..., cells of Walt in the transportation series,

Walt is now located even in the living room as if he is actually part of our family. (To an extent he is - we have no children yet but our four legged childrens names are Disney-ana, Lillie Belle, Thomas O'Malley and we can't forget Mickey Mouse the cat.

It's hard not to collect Disney - especially if you love it!

Happy Hunting everyone!

My non Disney items I collect are:

1964-64 NY Worlds Fair items
Zippo lighters
Coca-Cola collectibles (old and new)
Coins
Beatles records and bootlegs
certain toys from the 70's (75 and up)

Larry

I collect Baseball memorabilia-autos, programs, yr books and PINS!

help with my mom's Goofy collection and my dad's bus memorablia collection

what ever interests me from WDW!

My son and I collect PVC characters from WDW. We only have 50 of them as we can't find them in Canada. They are lined up in my kitchen on the ledge before and after each trip for months. This makes our prep and return special.

We have been to WDW twice and we are going again in Jan. 03.
If anyone ever sees them elsewhere let me know. Thanks.

I collect paintings and prints of places we have been together. We just got a few nice one to frame from our mini-honeymoon last week.

I used to collect Ty Beanie Babies but I don't anymore. I would even get rid of mine if I had the time to put them on Ebay or the Ty site.

Richard collects Star Wars figures and ships from the movies...He has over 350 figures and too many ships to count or display. We even have some on top of our fridge.;)

The collection that has the best memories is our Magnet Collection. We got 22 on our last trip to WDW. We got 4 new ones just last week.

I love everything Disney and my new love is the antenna balls...I just bought 2 today...

I also collect Denby Stoneware in the Blue Jetty Pattern. We got a few pieces for our wedding and I love it.

The list is sure to grow when we go to WDW in 2003.

I collect Pooh Bears, WDCC, Disney watches, and DVDs
Non-Disney I am collecting state quarters and ASL videos and ASL and Deaf Culture books.
