Seeing the "R" rating made me go...OH OH! But only because I know what it was for. I've read and heard from many others that they've read over the years our savior was EXTREMELY unrecognizable after his beating. The way it's depicted today in pictures and other movies doesn't even come close, but I understand after what I've read and seen of Mel's movie. The previews send chills up my spine everytime I see them. I visit www.passionofthechrist.com quite often....more so to see those previews. You guys should visit the website and put a kind word in for Mel. You'll see the link as you visit.
My whole bible study group is going the Sunday after the movie opens...and we can't wait. We've been doing a lot of studying and we can't wait to see how well Mel's movie lives up to the truth!
