So What Concerts Are You Going To This Summer?

I love this time of year when all the summer concerts start.

I'll be going to No Doubt/Paramore with my son and his friends in June. Best of both worlds--I love No Doubt, he loves Paramore.

In August, I'll be going with a bunch of old ladies and myself to see the B-52s.

I'm hoping for an Aerosmith concert or something!

Also hope to make it to hear the roar of engines at a racing event nearby...

Woo-Hoo! I just heard this morning they are coming here to FEDEX field. Huge stadium. I haven't been to a stadium concert like that in years.

I'm seeing AC/DC and then The Killers!!!

I am so psyched about the Killers concert, I have been wanting to see them perform live for years! My friend and I bought tickets the day they were out!

It's always great when you can go to a concert....but now I have two... I couldn't ask for more, best summer ever!!

Dh bought me tix for my birthday in August to see Def Leppard/Poison/Cheap Trick! I'm so getting BIG hair, tight jeans with ripped knees and maybe some black gloves with the fingers cut off.

I hope I can get priority parking. Do you know when the typically offer it? I have spent too many times sitting in the parking lot for an hour. I *hate* that about the place.

Yeah, since like 1982... Kinda disappointed that we did not make it to a show in Europe, I was really hoping to catch them in Spain but the dates were not doable.

NIN,Janes Addiction at Jones Beach,Long Island NY.Can't wait-haven't seen Janes Addiction since I think I was 17.I saw NIN at Atlantic city last Nov and I thought I was getting too old to go to these type of shows,but there was alot of us older crowd.

You really need to get a membership on U2.com, PRESALE code really kicks in. I got my U2 tickets last Tuesday, they went on sale this morning and sold out instantly.

Did you get GA's or seats? I got GA's now I'm undecided what I want to try to get for the 2nd show.

We never seem to get the priority parking when we order tickets, so what we did last time (when we saw Counting Crows and Maroon 5) was that we got there right when parking opened and they still had spots available (like the whole lot). We just packed some food and a cooler (since we were super early) and ate on the picnic tables they have there. Not too bad (until it got crowded and we had to share our table).

If you've already got tickets I would check with them about parking ASAP. I think they sell it up to a certain point in advance and then its just day of (based on availability). They have a serious parking issue there. Great venue but the parking situation is just plain craziness!

U2 I can take or leave, but Snow Patrol I adore and they are opening that show in MA! They are not opening when U2 comes out west though.

This is going to be a frustrating concert summer. Snow Patrol is stuck opening for two bands this summer. Bad enough they are opening, and opening for two bands I don't really want to see, but by the time these tours hit the West coast they are off the bill. Fingers crossed they will still make it out west somehow.

David Cook has oodles of dates in the Eastern half of the country and NOTHING out West.

And just an hour ago I heard some unconfirmed dates for a tour I am DYING to see and their L.A. date is the day my daughters turn 9. Unless I can convince them to go (HIGHLY unlikely) I will have to miss it. I can travel a bit to see them elsewhere, but the timing still stinks.

I DO have two Keane concerts coming up in early May though. And DH and I will probably see Def Leppard this fall.
