So what bothers you at WDW that may not bother anyone else???

Also I guess maybe just from being from a different time as I've been reading this thread as a man - you become a gentleman on the buses to ladies, elderly, and disabled I just assumed that's how everyone raises their children or young men to be.

It just seems like the right the to do.

I'm not sure why getting a table for me and my family ahead of time is a bad thing? Not all of us need to stand in line. Some of us have children or elderly or family members who have a disability who need to be seated. In a chair and a table.

TBH we do this too, except when a CS restaurant is insanely crowded. It's the old "hunter/gatherer" gene at work: two of us go get the food while the other two take a load off at the table for a few extra minutes.

I haven't read through all the comments yet (I'm making my way through) but what bothers me is when I am having a cigarette in a smoking section (signs saying I can), then people walk by and glare at me OR people decide to come sit in there and complain about how it smells like smoke. Hey, I'm just trying to follow the rules and smoke in the designated area!!!

What doesn't bother me - screaming kids. I have one so I understand how sometimes they just throw fits and there is nothing you can do about it!!

I've always Been the table hunter while husband gathers the food.

This is the silliest pet peeve on here. I'm laughing so hard.
Have you been to a CS restaurant when it's super busy? It's a real laugh riot :rotfl:to have to wander around with a tray of food getting colder by the moment because 1 out of 3 tables is being saved by families without food. Whoo, I have to wipe the tears of mirth from my eyes remembering when that's happened to me :rotfl2:. Good times :goodvibes.

By hunting a table, you occupy the table for the amount of time it takes your DH to get the food and then the time it takes your family to eat. Again, that's not a big deal when it's not busy. However, when it is busy you have now occupied the table for probably twice as long as it takes you to eat and someone else could have used the table during your waiting period. Meanwhile, people wander around looking for an empty table or just give up and eat on the curb or on a trash can. Some of them have children or elderly family members who would need to be seated. In a chair and a table. You are entitled to your chair and a table while you are eating. You are not entitled to one while you are waiting when it is busy. That is why Disney has a system at some CS restaurants where people may not enter the seating area unless they have food and then a CM seats them at an empty table. I have seen it all of the CS restaurants in the MK over Christmas and Spring Break. It works very smoothly and we are usually seated in less than a minute with my food still hot. I have seen more than one table saver throw a snit fit because they couldn't go grab a table in advance. Now, *that's* funny .

If it's not busy, hookairs? Take a load off. Enjoy the a/c. :thumbsup2

This one irks me even in the "real world". The same thing happens at our local Chipotle. During most of the day the line is 20+ people long. It is fairly small and they only have 4 booths and 5 tables inside. I have been in line before, made it through the entire line (10+ minutes), had our food trays, and noticed someone from a group that just entered sitting in a booth. I feel like going to the booth and just standing there with my trays until they get the hint.

As others have said, if it's not crowded, sit away. If there a very few, if any, free tables do not sit at a table for 10 minutes without any food while others with food search for a table.

I don't have a problem with a few smokers in a DSA...it's when there are many in one spot and you get bombard with smoke either well before or well after the area. Especially near areas where food is served.

Also forgot to add to my last post....We were on POTC and every person, except DH and myself, in our boat had their cell phones out either doing video or flash photos. VERY annoying!

Lines don't bother me that much as long as it's under an hour.

At the resorts food courts...coffee stirrers that are too short for the refillable mugs.

I get that - BUT it's Disney's fault for putting the smoking areas where they do, not mine. Again, just trying to follow rules so I don't need the evil eye or coughing from people walking by.... Now the people who smoke wherever they want, go ahead and do it to them!!

I don't give anyone the evil eye. I do cough if it comes my way and take out my rescue inhaler if needed. I do agree they need to put some DSA away from food and maybe add a few more in secluded areas.

Amen! Nothing worse than riding Jungle Cruise with a bunch of people who act like they are on their way to a funeral. Yes the jokes are corny, but there is no need to sit there and act put upon the whole time.

I know of one thing worse--people going into the Laugh Floor, and then not playing along if they end up on camera. Every so often you get someone who, when the camera is on them, just sits there and glares. Or won't do anything at all. If you don't want to be silly and have fun, don't go in to the Laugh Floor!

Wow...just wow

LOL. Are you really surprised that someone thinking intentionally harming someone is reprehensible behavior?

I am done with this board. This thread has shown me what a disgusting collection of people post here. I saw several people think that being threatening and harming people is acceptable for something that annoys them. Grow the hell up people. I have to wonder how some of you would respond to a real problem. Probably would be happy to kill someone. I seriously hope this is mostly just internet talk, but the fact that such petty and little things cause so many people to think it justifies their behavior is scary to me. This thread really sounds like nothing but spoiled children throwing tantrums over nothing and thinking it is a big joke. Just sickening.

Sorry to see anyone go, but you do need to have thicker skin on the internet if you find this thread so offensive that you are going to leave. The funny thing is, that the only one here throwing around personal insults would be you.

People in groups, who walk 4-6 across, slowly, chatting, oblivious to the traffic jammed up behind them. Just MOVE. And groups having "team meetings" suddenly and abruptly, in the middle of a path. PULL OVER, folks. People pushing their kids, to cut in front of my son in his WC. But, these ALL come after, kids on shoulders, that is #1.

And while it bothers most people, I like to be on rides when they break down, it fascinates me to see the lights come on, etc.
