So what are your thoughts on Bikini Pictures on Facebook?

Well, if someone is in a bikini and is just hanging out with friends at the beach or the pool I usually think "Oh how nice...they are having a great time!" However, if the lady is in a bikini and in a crazy pose that usually is reserved for covers of certain magazines I crack up and think "There is so and so looking for attention again."

Do you automatically think "tramp" or something derogatory. Do you find that nothing's wrong with it? I am not talking about just random vacation pictures, but profile pictures or constantly posting them, or other provocative pictures in underwear. Do you think they are just trying to get attention? Do you think they are "addicted" to attention from men? And not just women, I see a lot of guys that think they are super "buff" posting lots of pics in no shirt, posing, I always kind of throw up in my mouth a little when I see that but (Not that there's anything wrong with that. :upsidedow )

I know one "lady" who has to be in her 40s who is supposedly a "model" :rotfl2: and I"m like :confused3 really? Who actually hires you? She looks like an aging escort (to put it politely) at best and its just down right embarrassing. I'm beginning to think she just has a screw loose. Oh man I think I need to do some Facebook friend deletions. :scratchin

So how do you feel about it?
I see absolutely nothing wrong with bikinis, so it would not even appear on my radar. So, no, I would not think "tramp."

But then, where I am from, it is a running mecca. So, I am used to seeing women in sports bras and shorts at PTA meetings and the grocery store. So not much different than a bikini.

The first thing that pops into my head is :

your self esteem must be pretty low and you need attention

I am sixteen and the number of Facebook friends who post pictures of them posing and making suggestive faces really irritates me. I don't mind photos of people in bikinis but I do mind it when they are posing or showing off.

Men... Seem to be able to pose topless without people noticing. They aren't seen as attention seeking so much in my experience. Not that I'm complaining. ;)

I'd have plenty to say if my daughter was posting pics like that.

I have a friend or two that seek attention. I do think it is low self-esteem. I think they seem pretty miserable 90% of the time. It is really sad to watch.
