So what are *you* hoping to find under the tree?

I'm at a loss for what to ask for this year for Christmas. I have enough *stuff* and as much as I looove sweets and treats, I'm not sure my waist line can handle anymore and my cupboards are full of stuff that I enjoy, but there's nothing else I need.

I'm thinking maybe a small baggalini wallet, a rolling pin (mine used to be my MILs and FIL did some surgery on it so it works, but its very noisy). I really just can't think of anything I need/want. I like things for the house, but I'm kind of worn out on always asking for practial things for the house.

Thinking budget ($50) or under... what kind of things are you asking for this year? My dh is getting annoyed that I haven't given him any ideas yet.

Any cds, movies, books you want? Those are things I always find creeping onto my list. Also asked for some makeup that I needed more of and an organizer to put inside my purse... not sure what else, but I somehow came up with a list

Oh and sometimes I ask for concert/theatre tickets!

How about a charm bracelet like a Pandora, Troll, etc.? This way you can get a gift (add a bead to the bracelet), they can pick out something that has meaning to you and the person giving the gift. This is what I am going to ask for this year as I already have way to much STUFF.

New bedroom shoes - tote umbrella - sex and the city 2 - my big gift is DH taking a week off in Jan. to go to Disney with DS and my parents and of course me.

I have asked for new blinds installed by Christmas for our sunroom.

I also want two very heavy pictures that we have owned for 2 years and that DH has promised to hang HUNG!

My "official" request has been for three hardback books from a series I like. If DH gets me anything else then it will be a suprise. I have also put back (for myself) pjs and a Pur Water Pitcher as well as a charm and a movie for my stocking. DH tends to do the "Oh! It is Christmas Eve and nearly midnight - what will I put in her stocking/under the tree?!" and since we live in "the sticks" and only have a Walmart to shop at....yeah, it's just easier to have a few things on hand

I'm hoping my family buys me a llama or a goat. OK, not for me exactly, but a Heifer Project animal.

Hahaha that's a joke around here..I WISH my hubby would actually do my stocking I will have a super cute pair of pj pants under the tree and we already got our joint gift which is a super nice gift so I don't expect anything else..the stocking would definitely be nice though!

We just moved up over the summer to wear they actually have winter...

So on my list are comfy lounge clothes suitable for exiting the house. Sometimes I like to dress comfy and in Florida, it would just be shorts and a tshirt, easy peasy. That doesn't work in winter! Soooo....I asked for some gap shirts and comfy pants (danskin brand or something like it).

Additionally.....

Homedics shiatsu foot massager to add to my "collection"--I have different stuff for different purposes--but nothing for my feet.

Homemedics macdaddy shiatsu back massager that I saw at kohl's--over $200...that won't happen, but a girl can dream!

Jewelry--costume type for when you want to look cute and trendy

Itunes gift card--small amount. I have a couple of songs I would like to buy. Though come to think of it, I still have a balance from my $20 card from 4 or 5 years ago.

And $75 to get a GOOD haircut after a very very very bad chop job at a discount salon. I was trying to save a few bucks as we adjust our budgets--it looked terrible. I can sort of hide the damage, but it really upset and horrified me what she did. For now, I can't afford to get it fix, so I'm really hoping that he set aside cash so that I can go and get it fixed properly.

Couldn't really think of much else. I overspent on hubby and I "gave permission" for him to spend less. He asked for and got a keurig and a projector clock. I also bought him epic mickey.

I'm the stocking filler. I buy cute things and stuff for everyone. I get bupkus in my stocking. One of these days, I'm going to fill it with something cool...like a little blue box from Tiffany. "Oh honey, look at what Santa brought me!!!!!"

ETA: I did also ask for a very inexpensive gym membership and my husband to peacefully help with baby in the morning so that I could go to it. Gym is only $10 per month...but my request is more for the complaint free watching of the baby so that I can go to it. My treadmill is kind of in need of replacing and the gym membership is much cheaper than the treadmill that I would be shopping for to replace it.

An ipod stereo of some sort. It doesn't have to be too fancy, but it would be nice to not have to listen to music through headphones or computer speakers.

My perfume.. which I've worn since I was a teen and has always been somewhat hard to find.
Clothes .. since I went from a size 16 to an 8 this year and NOTHING fits. I have some new stuff, but when you have to replace everything it gets really really expensive.

I know almost everything that will be under the tree, because I tell dh thats what I want and I buy it. I am hoping for a few little surprises like a Pandora charm, Pampered Chef gift certificate, flannel pjs and maybe a couple DVDs.

i want santa and the good Lord to put their heads together and find me a job. a decent job. that's it. i know, i've said it before, but i've wracked my brain and there's nothing else in the world i can think of that i want more. DH keeps asking me what i want, since i gave him money to buy the tools he wants, but all i can say is "i don't know".

Well, I have to admit I'm kind of in the same boat but since all my clothes are getting tired so mostly I'm just asking for clothes. Plus I need new measuring cups. I'm also going to ask for a small zip ID from Vera Bradley or a coach wallet to match my coach purse.

I'm going a little more expensive on the last thing I'm going to ask DH to get me. I have a Tiffany Toggle Bracelet. Every year I ask DH for a charm for it. Not under $50 but I love it. I figure I will have it forever and since it's Tiffany 100 years from now it will still be worth what I paid for it. I have three flat hearts, each engraved with the kids initials and their birthdates, plus I have the man on the moon, a butterfly and a peace sign. This year I'm asking for either the dragonfly, apple, eiffel tower, or crown of hearts.

I have learned over the years that I cannot ask for anything for Christmas from DH. he never gets what i ask for instead he listens to my rambles and rants. One year I got a KitchenAid mixer, another I got an iPod. He really likes to surprise me. This year I have no idea what he has up his sleeve since he is deployed..dont expect anything. But I would love to see a new camera and a Kodak playsport..we washed and dried the last one and I loved it and miss it.

I don't really need anything....just him letting me take my son (14) on a trip to Disney in February is really more than enough!!! That trip will make my year. We really don't need anything, as we pretty much get what we want during the year. I am spoiling my kids (as usual)....and I have all I need with the love of my family!

I would just be happy for DH to fill my stocking. Every now and then he does do a decent job filling it, but other years it's barely more than what I put in. This year we have decided to not do gifts for each other as we're taking the family to DLR shortly before Christmas. Instead the kids are the ones getting the gifts. We're just giving each other stocking stuffers.
