So we were approved for our house...Florida here we come!

We are moving from NY to FL July 5th-ish. We finally got word yesterday that the house was approved and its ours! We are only renting as its a big change from NY to FL. I am going in with an open mind and a deep long love for Florida. Just hitting the state border after a 24 hour drive puts an immediate glow into my life. I love the sun and palm trees, I love the beach. I hate snow, cold and slush that we have in NY. We are moving to Ocala so I guess its about 45 min to one coast and an hour to the other. Most importantly....45 minutes to Disney!

I just moved here a few weeks ago from NC to FL! I'm LOVING IT! We've not been to Disney yet as FL Residents but we're still getting settled in. I have some vacation time to burn so I think I'll take random Thursdays off and enjoy some mid-week days to Disney with DD.

So cool! I'm in Ocala it takes about an 1 hour and 15 minutes to Disney. You will love this area.

All of our family is in NY- we didnt want to leave everyone but at some point in time we thought we needed to start living for ourselves and not for other people. We also have the 3 kids and they are dealing with it and are excited but nervous.

Thank you everyone! We talked last night and we might be moving the move up a week now!! I have like 1 box packed. But with our lease here and utilities its going to be easier to leave right at the end of the month instead of the first week of July. Now I am in full OMG mode! So there are sooo many tips on this board for Disney- anyone have any moving advice or tips? My farthest move so far has been a 20 minute drive!
