So we went apple picking yesterday

I asked a few weeks back about good place to go apple picking. Well, thanks to monkeyboys link, we found a wonderful place in Hobart, Indiana.

They had a wagon to take you out to the pumpkin patch, corn maze, and apple trees. The boys had a blast with the maze, and took turns being the leader. Our 10 year old got us "lost" more than the 5 year old did! We ended up woth five pumpkins and 15 pounds of apples. As much as the kids love apples, I don't know how long they will last! LOL I am going to try and make apple crisp though. We had such a good time, and the boys are talking about going again next year, DH and I agree. Even the two year old this morning has been talking about it.

great pics!!! i loved going apple picking! we would go pick apples then come home and make apple crisp. oooh and homemade apple sauce!

i dont like the corn mazes though. i have only done one. i have no sense of direction so i get lost. ALOT!!! really dont like that lost in the corn field, thinking about children of the corn eek: ), feeling i get. i can get lost in broad daylight on streets i know! LOL
