So Waking Up at 5:45 was Unnecessary...

Today's my 180, so I woke up at 5:45am to get all my ressies, and I did!!!!

So just for the heck of it, I just went on and tried all of them again at 9:45pm, and they were ALL available. I'm tired. I'm glad I did it anyway - just in case, but for those of you dining in the 3rd week of October, you're likely to get what you want

My 180 days opened yesterday. I was out of town for the weekend, completely exhausted when I got home, and wrapped up in other stuff. I totally forgot about my reservation window until I was putting the kids to bed last night. I was in a total panic. Logged in around 8:00 CT...and got everything I wanted at my exact times--even CRT. I'm glad I didn't get up early for nothing.

Same here. I got up Sunday morning for all of them. I just know that if I didnt get everything I wanted at, lets say 10am, I would be kicking myself saying I should have just gotten up and done it!

I'm guessing the lack of discount for that time of year as something to do with it. We may be changing our trip from August to October and love to hear that it's not already all booked up

Yep, with all the hype at getting up at (before) the crack of dawn to get on the computer I didn't start the process until about 9am. I got everything I wanted even though I had to call for the Fantasmic package.

Other than the extremely popular spots...and depending on the size of your party...it doesn't seem like you always have to worry about ADR's at all.

As an experiment, I just checked the online reservations for a party of 2 for 7:30 tonight.

Results - 54 restaurants have availablity and that includes California Grill, Cinderellas Royal Table, Artist Point, Jiko, Narcoossee's, Citrico's, etc, etc. Only 20 restaurants show that they cannot seat me tonight.
