If the Movies Under the Stars is now Movies Under the Ceiling then is that going to be in effect for Fort Wilderness?

I know the movies aren't shown on the beach at Fort Wilderness and even the Polynesian showed the movie on a grassy area outside the main pool. So, are they only moving movies indoors for the resorts where they are shown on the beach (like the Beach Club, for example) or are they moving them indoors for EVERY resort?

I would think the "Fort" movies would be okay. They have a regular area outside and it actually faces the canal in that area. The seating is a significant distance away from the water. Top it off that they do have the "Fire Pits" there. (I don't know if they use them during the movies or not though).

I am also guessing, that at this point, there is a Heightened effort/awareness/patrol/lookout for/of alligators at any location. I also imagine that over the next several months there will be additional required training throughout the resorts and parks for the staff on how to deal with this. (Maybe they already do this but I am sure it will be re-emphasized).

It was tragic and I am trying not to let it impact our upcoming trip too much. I am sure Disney is doing everything they can to get things back to normalcy, because of course, it's the right thing to do and in the long run, if they don't, the bottom line will suffer (which is probably their bigger motivating factor).

Tikiman said the Poly did not show movies outside recently due to high winds (big inflatable screen). There is nowhere inside the Poly to show them.

Well, this what I am trying to figure out. An article on the DIS said movies had been moved inside, but this seems unrealistic to me for all venues, so since the Fort is in the same area as GF, I was wondering what, if anything, was being done at either location. It seems impossible to move them inside, but to rather move them to another outdoor location. The GF has a ton of grassy areas they could use. The Fort movies are never shown on the Beach and there's no space indoors so I didn't know if this news had applied to the Fort or how realistic it is for any venue.
