so today

the frog heads are sooo funny :rotfl:
my biology teacher would yell at us tho if we did that lol
he's a fun sucker haha

We did flowers in 4th grade (yes. we disected flowers).
We did owl pellets in 7th grade. I thought it was pretty cool. lol.

Yeah. As someone else said your teacher looks young.
And those pictures are the pimp. lol

dissecting was horribleee!!

I had to leave the room almost every time...

the baby pig was the worst...it had teeth and was smiling

one time i disected the frog and we couldn't find the stomach.
so we asked the teacher to come over after like twenty minutes of looking (like how hard it is to find the stomach, right?)
and he was like it's right there and it was super large
and it turned out there was a baby bird in it's stomach.

i think i'm gonna have nightmares about my fetal pig dissection.

.....gross.

We had to do a pigs heart.
It was weird.
The year 11's had to disect locusts but the worst part was when my teacher pinned them down and broke their spines they weren't dead they were just knocked out. When they woke up they were pinned and you could see their legs moving. Then they dissected them live.:scared:

Dissected a frog in 8th grade for science. We named him Otis. Erica and I totally messed him up. After we found all the organs we were looking for, we took off his head (and it was a he), skinned him and made him a neat little frog-skin veil. It was awesome.

Last year we dissected a deer heart for biology.

Next year I get to dissect a fetal pig for anatomy and physiology.

We JUST killed fish in science.
It stunk. Literally. I mean, the smell was terrible.
Plus, it was weird. They were perfectly fine when we got them, but then my teacher said "Oh dont worry, keep taking water quality tests, and the fishes will even each other out" but it didnt, and the tanks turned dark green and they died.

Also...we had these little squeeze tubes, to take water up, to put into the tube to test, and one kid in my class...sucked up parts fish...it started bleeding..and...it died.

My tank consisted of :

Oprah
Chiquita
Beastly the 3rd

Oh and we had a snail named Raw-juh

I'm trying to think of everything we dissected last year in bio...

a worm, a grasshopper, a starfish, and a frog I think was all.

The worm was the hardest. We had a worm with really thick skin, but we couldn't press very hard because we didn't want to ruin the organs. So it took us like 30 minutes just to cut through the skin. xD

I wasn't really bothered by the dissecting itself, just the smell. I about barfed. :crazy2:

I believe that if I get Bio next year I'm doing the frog.
I believe here, the grade 12 Bio is a pig.
