1:00 may just be an estimate. You could try to call earlier and see what happens.

Yes, today was a pre-scheduled limited service day as DVC is upgrading their system. The next scheduled limited day is December 15.

I'm sure you will be able to make your reservation soon.

The good news is that no one else can make a reservation either. I tried to make a reservation on the last scheduled down time and they said the same thing, call at 1:00pm. I called back before 1:00pm and they said again it would not open until 1:00 pm. So I think it truely will not open until 1:00pm. I got exactly the room I was looking for when I called back at 1:00pm at the 7 month mark.

I know that feeling. It's exactly how I felt when I was able to book our concierge studio for May 10. This coming May we're staying in a value studio to conserve points. And that's a feeling too!
