Ever met anyone who, after one look and one conversation, you were just absolutely blown away? I'm sure I would really dislike this guy if I ever really got to know him. I have a great boyfriend who's not worth sacrificing for something so asinine. But oh my gosh, what a package this one was, great looking, brilliant, confident. Girls, it's a happy to be heterosexual day for me. :)

Oh absolutely, you mean there are other people in the world?

With my luck, it would be a great day to be a heterosexual for me, and a great day to be a homosexual for him..

OMG, hrh_disney_queen, I'm snorting with laughter.

:rotfl:

WITH you, not AT you.

:rotfl:

Nope, can't say that I have.

But I do recall thinking one day while working at a summer camp: Now these are the kind of guys I would love to date and marry. And I did, in fact, eventually end up marrying one of 'em.

LOL! I've had that happen before...

But really, danacara I know... there are some great guys here on the DIS.

Was it VampHeartless? :)

I have always stayed pretty one track minded myself, but a crush sounds fun from afar! You already know not ro risk what you have, right? That is if DBF is "the one" !

I had a moment like that last night, at Home Depot.

I have to say that my fiance is absolutely wonderful. But he's a scientist, and he's NOT handy around the house at all. I'm the one with the power tools!

I went to pick up some lumber and get it cut (don't have a table saw at home), I was with my mother at the time. One staffperson was supposed to be coming to cut the wood for us, but he was taking forever. So while I was standing there (wearing my best "helpless woman" outfit to try and get better service) this very friendly, very hunky guy walked over and asked if we needed help. He cut the lumber for us and we were finished in probably 3 minutes, and he walked away. I said to my mom (gesturing at the saw) "gee, if we had one of those at home this would have been so much easier", and then I paused and gestured at the hunk and said "although, if we had one of THOSE at home that would be even better!"

Snoopy, this is completely OT ...........your sig picture of your sons is great. They're so handsome and the blonde looks JUST like you, doesn't he?

Well I'm guessing this is someone in real life(not the DIS) since you had a "look"-right?

I would have to say yes! Hit me like a ton of bricks when I first said "hello" to this cute guy in the hall at work....and married him a few years later. ;)

This may be a surprise to you, Scarlett, but there are plenty of DIS'ers who know what other posters look like.

;) ;)

Ya, not a DISer ... but there are many hotties on this site! Good looking girls, especially! (wasn't anyone else sort of surprised and delighted at the meets?)

Awww, thanks! :) Actually, the brunette looks more like me, except for his coloring is all his Dad. Or at least that is what I have always thought but many people have said lately that my little one looks like me, so who knows? In the eye of the beholder, I guess. :) Thanks again for your nice thoughts. :)

On topic, there was a guy I used to work with who I swore was my soulmate in another life. I'm happily married so I had no intention of taking it any further, but I defnately felt a very strong connection to him. So I think it can happen, even when you aren't looking for it. :)
