I feel the same about you guys too...a much needed positive this year! I am about to feel so alone on the DIS! But I can't wait for all of us to meet up back on the DIS in 2012, share our stories and PLAN FOR THE GIRL TRIP...just thinking Food & Wine, Halloweentime, Art of Animation Resort, and Fantasyland Expansion...wow would that all be great!

Yes! We fly out early on the 16th. On my calendar at work, I have myself down as having 8 days today... my ticker has always been one day less beginning when it rolled 'under a month'... I suppose it's not counting 'today' as a day since it's here? I dunno...

But I'm going with it... and YOU SHOULD, TOO!!!

SO, I will try very diligently to send you updates/pictures while on our trip! Because this past year would have really crawled had I not had all of you to keep me company!! I saw that!! I was just getting ready to ask Susan if she had seen that thread yet either. I was going to go back to that thread and see if the person ever gave up what building she was in or not... Someone tied a video in there regarding 'how to check' so I'm going to check that out, too.

Such a bummer and definitely not something I want to worry about while on vacation!!!

And yes, I actually sorted through all that I had that I can pack yesterday and got things I can pack put into the appropriate suitcases. That was fun!! And it did allow me to make yet another list of what all I still need to gather up/find to take with us. I'm trying to ignore the weather that is currently showing... three days of rain, but 80 degrees... this is on the tail of our trip while Eddie is there so I'm hopeful for him it's at least warm if it's going to rain.

But I'm getting there... should be able to get very close this weekend... need to find a couple of more Christmas gifts before we go (for family) and then my Christmas shopping is officially done! It's been interesting budgeting that in and not dipping into the Disney fund but I think we are going to make it just fine!!

I didn't check back on the thread, and not sure I want to know what building it was in. We will be checking our beds/sheets. But I read that the lady might have brought them with her in checked luggage from the plane. So I guess there are lots of ways bed bugs can get there.

From research I did last Fall when we went to NYC (Where bed bugs are apparently rampant), it is best to visit a hotel/resort immediately after a reported incident, because they typically have done a full sweep deep clean of the property. So that puts my mind at ease a little.

There is a website somewhere that lists reported cases of bed bugs all over the country (maybe world?). I might try to find that.

I found out in her posting it was Tahiti... so that's helpful to know!

for Friday!! This is going to be short and to the point because today is nuts and I'm trying to get caught up with the rest of you!

6 MORE DAYS, 4 more work days, LAST WEEKEND TO PREPARE FOR TRIP... bring on our Christmas celebration at the Poly!!!

This will be my 9th day of trip update... our departure day!

12/24 Christmas Eve!!

We will hopefully be organized and packed up to leave either the night before while the kiddos snooze so that we can wake up and enjoy a relaxing start to our Christmas Eve day.

Plans are to eat at 'Ohana with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and friends... I'm hopeful it will be a special breakfast since it's Christmas Eve. But regardless... it's always a fun breakfast and a good memory to set before we have to meet the car that will transport us back to the airport. Our departure time from the Polynesian is 10:15a... set to land in Tulsa at 7:02p. Long day of travel but I feel certain the kids will be excited to get home and tired enough that they will be easy to get to bed to anticipate Santa coming!

I do have almost all Christmas shopping done which was a huge goal... I have my mom left and one SIL and two dirty santa gifts... piece of cake!

This weekend will be spent going over my lists, finalizing 'ride plans' for each of our park days... they are pretty much done but want to tweak a bit and then making the kid's journals for them to track their memories!

On a side note.... Erin's team is playing in the tournament championship tonight!! Will let you know how it goes!!!
