So, This is What Makes Life Divine...MY FIRST PTR (May/June 2011) *5/27 LAST POST*

First of all, I want to say that you seem to have a great outlook ok life. You just come across as nothing can get you down! I think that's admirable! It also will probably help when something at the parks forces you to go with the Flow lol!
You seem to be well planned and researched. We did a big family trip for my Childrens first trip. We all had a wonderful time and were so lucky to be able to have others be part of the experience. But we didn't think of scheduling in a little individual family time and it would have been a nice touch. Great job adding that in!
Looking forward to more!

Your travel day plans look great! Don't think I could handle two days of knowing I am soo near Disney World and not actually being there!

It's nice of you to consider others and make the necessary changes :thumbsup2 Watching Wishes from Poly is a great idea - we are doing the same but for Hallowishes instead.

I know what you mean about getting up in the moring. Liam has to do morning treatments every morning that in itself takes 30 minutes and that is not included on normal morning activities. Hoping that since Liam is used to getting up early for school will still get us out of our rooms at a early time.

We'll happily keep you company if the rest of the family poops out. We will be at the same parks for at least the first 3 days. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

When we are all together, it's usually us getting ready while my Mom gets my brother ready. Then we help to transfer him. Which doesn't take that long, except my Mom is still not dressed for the day yet  It's good that we'll be there right after school lets out. I know my niece will still be in her school routine, so we won't have to worry about a cranky kid. Just cranky adults ;)

:welcome: Thank you for reading...and the compliment. I try to be open to most things, and it's not without a little effort. Your comment would probably surprise my family, since they had to deal with me in my "difficult" teenage years ;) I'm having fun with all the planning, and it's totally worth it to make this a great trip for my family!

I think the two weeks after graduation are going to be the hardest...knowing Disney is ALL we will be thinking about until we get there!

Wwwwhhhhooooohoooo! :woohoo:Can you believe it??? We are officially in the 70's!!!
I loved seeing your last post and absolute loved the visual of your upcoming trip!! :thumbsup2

We are also driving, does it concern you and your family about the rising gas prices? I heard on the news that Americans will spend on average an extra $700 for gas alone this year (and that is just for everyday living not including vacations) because of the rising cost. They are forecasting around $4 by summer..... I guess it is still less expensive than flying, though. :confused3
It would have been nice to have a little more money for Disney, though. :sad2: Keep on planning! Loved your latest post!!! :cool1:

Thanks so much for the tip! I've looked into it a bit more after reading your comment, and I think we may try to pick a spot on the dock or near a sidewalk. He will be in a manual chair with one of us pushing, so charging and the extra weight of a power chair won't be a problem. Thanks again :goodvibes

I'm glad this helped! I'm really glad that since ya'll will be pushing him in a manual I said something! I'd hate for ya'll to try to push him through that sand.

I want to say, too, that I love that you are looking for those accommodations for him and I sincerely hope he has the time of his life!

Yes, the gas prices are definitely a concern. We've already had to plan on budgeting more for that than expected...which cuts into spending money, of course. We have to get there some way, though... :)

:cool1: 75 DAYS TO GO! :cool1:

It's getting closer and closer.
I'm currently spending a few days at my parent's house.
There's been a lot of Disney talk and trip progress :cloud9:
We're about 85% paid at this point...we'll be "paid in full" by the week's end.
We've done some shopping. I'll post pictures in this update.
My Mom and I watched the Disney Vaction Planning DVD...
Her response..."I'm so excited to go!"
Yeah, me too... :goodvibes
Middle Brother and I have started working on a planning binder and shirt designs.
He's great at that stuff!

I haven't had time to update, and I probably won't be able to write until next week...
But I'll post these pictures now :rotfl:

There was a special on Vinylmations ($5 with a $20 purchase)
So, we got 3 to trade. For Middle Brother, Niece, and myself.

Lastly, we went to Old Navy this morning and bought Niece 2 shirts.

I loved these designs when I saw them online.
I waited to see if they had them in the store. We got the last grey one :)
