So this is what Deluxe is like!? I LIKE IT! A November 2010 TR

Ok...so I'm way late:rolleyes1 Not sure why I didn't notice your link earlier:confused3 I'll have to go back and catch up in all my spare time;)

Looking forward to reading about the Poly!
Heather

Probably because I am slower than molasses updating and am never on the first page trip reports!!! :lmao:

I swear everyday I try to get an update and everyday something comes up!! I am going to today though this afternoon!

After a wonderful day at the pool we decided to go back and get showered and dressed and go rent some Sea Raycers.

It was Rhett and I

And Pop Pop and Gabriel

If you have never rented a Sea Raycer, I highly recommend it. I think it was around $45 for a half hour and you get to go all over the seven seas lagoon. We even went all the way over to the Contemporary and the Wilderness Lodge! I was such a cool thing to do with the boys. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

It was fun and the boys really enjoyed it!

We had diner reservations at Kona that night to celebrate Grammy’s birthday. Her birthday was a week prior. But before we went up to eat we posed for some family pictures.

I really can’t remember what I had at Kona, but I remember it was good!

Here we are singing to Grammy!

After dinner we watched wishes again from the beach and called it a night. Even though we didn’t go to a park I was still tired! And I was looking forward to the morning! My mom and Aunt Kathleen would be arriving and meeting us at Hollywood Studios!! Yeah!!!!!

The boat rides look like a lot of fun, that might have to go on my to-do list for our next trip!

Oh how fun! I'd love to try those Sea Racers! I'm glad you had a great meal at Kona! That place is so yummy! :goodvibes

Yes! they are fun! and I thought they were pretty reasonable too.. It's nice to be out on the lagoon looking towards all the resorts!

:thumbsup2 They are tons of fun! I am eating at Ohana in January which I can't wait! I couldn't get them both in on the same trip, Ohana was booked..

Day 6 – Hollywood Studios!

After a wonderful day at Epcot we were very much looking forward to today! My husband and I are originally from Florida, but life and work relocated us to Maryland. Most of my family is still in Florida, so we were very excited when my Mom and Aunt told us that they would be able to come and visit us for a few days on this trip. :yay: My Aunt (my moms sister) is like a sister to me. I am an only child and she is only 9 years older than me so we are very close. We actually ran the Disney Half Marathon together this past January and are running it again this year!!!

So the plan was to meet my mom and Aunt at the entrance to Hollywood Studios.

And here’s Nana!! She was already there waiting for us.

We met up with my Aunt Kath and heading on in. We were on a mission! 1st stop was the Rock ‘ n’ Roller Coaster! This would be the first time that we would be able to ride it, Gabriel was finally tall enough!!! :yay:

Of course we had to pose for some photopass pictures first.

After the pictures we were off. This way!

Both my boys had a camera with them. This was Rhett’s view as I was pushing his stroller down sunset blvd.

Turning the corner!

And we are there!! Here is Gabriel’s attempt at playing the guitar.

And here is where my sweet little boy turned into a pill! ;) I have been waiting and waiting and waiting to ride this with Gabriel. I have never rode it before either and Rhett wasn’t tall enough so the plan was for him to wait with Nana while we all rode it. Well, you know how plans go! :sad2:

Rhett didn’t want me to go. He didn't want me to ride it, he wanted me to stay with him. I mean he threw a complete fit over it! And I really didn’t feel like just leaving him there having a tantrum with my mom. So I had to stay back and sit with Rhett while they all went on it. And look at my little imp getting his way!

Of course they all loved it! Gabriel came off jumping up and down screaming how awesome it was and wanted to go back on it again. I told him we would come back but now it was time to go on the Tower of Terror.

This would be Rhett’s first time on TOT and I really wasn’t sure how it would go. I was afraid that he would get scared and want to get off. But he LOVED it! I mean loved it! We went back on it right away and then he wanted to go again! So Mark and Gabriel went to ride RNRC again while I took Rhett on Tower of Terror again! I had to stop at 3 times because I was starting to get a headache! I can only take that ride so many times in a day! After being dropped over and over again it was time for lunch.

We made our way over to Toy Story Mania to get fastpasses for later and then went to check in for lunch. Time for lunch at Sci Fi Dine In Theater! :thumbsup2

I just about died laughing reading about your son's reaction after you decided to stay with him instead of riding Rockin Roller Coaster! That sounds like how my grandson would act :lmao: It's funny how kids can play us - your boys are so adorable :goodvibes:

I love ToT too - it's my fav ride in HS. My DS24 didn't want to ride it on our last trip (it was his first trip to WDW) and he's not fond of rides that drop. He loves roller coasters but it took a ton of convincing to get him to ride and he loved it! Not sure if he would ride it over and over like you guys did - I think he'd get a headache too lol

Love your pics! esp the one of ToT - very interesting concept!

yes.. he can be a little pill at times!! :lmao: He totally played me!!!

I am like you... I think I had a little headache all day from ToT.. I can only take so much of it!!

Ok....so I'm jealous! Your pool pics tell me that it wasn't crowded at all!!! Good grief...there was hardly anybody in the pool! When we were at the Poly, it would get super crowded:scared1: Love their pool area....beautiful view, great slide, great beach...just don't like the masses of people that occasionally swarm the place:laughing: Glad y'all had a wonderful day:thumbsup2

:lmao: you know what.. I barely noticed that the pool wasn't crowded! I guess I am spoiled to the crowds because we usually go when its not crowded! Well.. that's not entirely true. We do go for a few days in the summer.. but we know what we are getting into and only go for a few days. Our longer 6-8 day trips are done in the fall/winter!

Love your sons "view" from the stroller! So nice that you were able to spend the day with your aunt and mom! And sneaky sneaky Rhett, his face looks like he knew you would cave in :rotfl2:

I was really neat seeing his pictures.. granted most of them were of the ground or trashcans! but it was still neat to see his perspective.

and yes.. he knew I would cave.. he knew.. :lmao:

That stinks that you didn't get to ride R-N-R, but who could say no to that adorable face?

I'm glad you all got to enjoy ToT. I conquered R-N-R for the first time in October, but I don't think I'll ever try ToT. I loathe and despise drops, so ToT and Splash Mountain are on my "nuh=uh, never gonna do it" list. :lmao:

Finally all caught up! I too love seeing the pictures Rhett took, especially from his stroller. How cool to see it REALLY through his eyes and have his perspective as you make your way through the parks! I had to laugh at the picture of him after he kept you off of RNRC. I can totally see my DS pulling that on me in the future! I also love that he loved TOT so much!! It's such a fun ride, but it's getting through all the "scary" stuff that is the hardest thing with little kids. My sister had to cover her eyes all the way until the drop when she was little. :rotfl:

OH what a BAD BAD DISer I am!!! :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:sad2::sad2: I SO need to finish up this TR. I have another one to start for a trip THIS November and am about to go down next weekend for Marathon weekend! I swear the holidays consume me!!! I am going to try to get the next day done by tomorrow. I think I have lost the 4 readers that I had! :rotfl:

yes, that adorable face!! lol.. little pill he is! He knows how to push my buttons for sure!!!

TOT is fun, but I can't take too much of it. LOVE RNR! And I was able to get on it! :thumbsup2
