So This is Love...Celebrating 1-Year Disney-Style! **BYE! 7/31 p.3**

I left off as we were waiting for the monorail back to the Poly, and hearing thunder. Turns out, the pool was indeed closed, so with more arcade points burning a hole in our pockets, that is where we headed. And then we hit Capt. Cook’s for dinner where my mom and I had burgers that were pretty yummy. And wouldn’t you know…the pool opened while we were eating! Claire could not be happier. We grabbed 2 chairs and before I could even turn around, the kids were headed towards the slide. My mom and I walked right on in. The water felt sooo good and even though it was pretty crowded in the pool, we found a nice little bench in the water to sit on near the slide exit so we could watch the kids exit the slide. We stayed there for awhile until I actually started feeling cold so the adults went and sat on the lawn chairs while the kids kept on sliding. We were able to catch the electrical water pageant too which was a bonus…I completely forgot about it. Soon, we decided we’d just get a snack and head back to the room, change and then hit the beach near Tahiti to watch Wishes. And that is exactly what we did…

A great ending to a busy, fun-filled Disney day.

Friday, we woke up and had a breakfast ADR at Kona to get to. We packed up all our stuff first and put everything in the car then headed back to the GCH and straight to Kona. It was the first time in all my visits here that it wasn’t packed. We checked in and were soon seated. As usual, breakfast was delicious and I had the Tonga Toast so I was on a sugar high to boot. Soon, we were waving good-bye to the Poly and heading towards the Premium Outlets so the girls could visit the Vera Bradley outlet. Let’s just say we all walked out with Vera shopping bags…and after browsing some others stores, we made the actual drive home.

Once I dropped off the kids, then my mom, and then back home, it was close to 6 and I was exhausted. Jeff was in New Jersey visiting family so I was all alone for a couple days before he came back.

So that was our short, but super fun trip to the world. It made me even more excited about Jeff and I’s anniversary trip.

Disney-versary Updates!
Sorry for the lack of updates. My summer has been very fun and so far much busier than I expected. There are some itinerary updates as far as our trip goes though!

First off, we decided that we’d leave Thursday when Jeff finished work…and it was his idea! Wait, you say…I thought you were leaving Friday after work? Well, we were. Those changes are coming in a minute.

Back to Thursday night, we needed a hotel obviously but unfortunately our guy had no more availability at Bonnet Creek so we were on our own. Luckily we found a pretty decent rate that offers a full breakfast buffet at the Best Western Lake Buena Vista Resort, one of the official Downtown Disney Hotels. We are basically just using it for sleeping and then we will be close to our other destinations the next day.

Now our revised itinerary!

Thursday August 1
Head for Disney when Jeff gets home from work!

Friday August 2
DisneyQuest/Downtown Disney
Check into Wyndam Bonnet Creek Resort / Grocery Shopping
Dinner at Raglan Road

Saturday August 3
Epcot with lunch at Via Napoli
Rest/Pool
DHS with dinner at Sci-Fi Diner

Sunday August 4
Animal Kingdom
Rest/Pool
Dinner at Shula’s

Monday August 5
Leave for home bright and early!

Hi everyone!

We are about halfway packed except for toiletries and things, snacks and water are packed too. We are both so ready for this vacation and I can't wait to have some fun, silly quality time with my sweetie before starting back to work in a couple weeks. I'll post an update when we return!
