At lunch I was telling DH all that I have to do for our trip plus I have a Dr's appt in the am so I'm going to be off for at least 2 hours anyway and he says why don't you just take the whole day off, I'm already thinking of skipping out early. As much as I'd love to we are going to be gone 10 days and I need to do some work but in the big picture it wouldn't kill me to skip out on it, my office mates could cover for me and understand. It had never crossed my mind before I've just been worrying about getting this, that, and whatnot done when I'm not at work and now that DH has planted that little evil thought I'm going back and forth on it. And like I'm going to be that concentrated on work tomorrow knowingin 24 hours I'll be at WDW......

So who takes off the day before your vacation?

Someone try to talk me out (of in) of this idea. :goodvibes

Having done it the other way, we now always plan on having the day off before we leave and more importantly, have a day or two off when we return.

Makes the whole trip more enjoyable and less stressful.

Do it! Have fun!:wizard:

Well I sucked it up and came in but I'm leaving early. down to 35 minutes more of work now. The clock is just dragging by........
